The remake of ATA, when the human race goes endangered.

ATA-How it Happened
It was 2017. The Moon suddenly left it's orbit, and the Earth was a dark cold place. Millions caught disease from the cold and darkness, many became crazy and committed suicide, and many were killed by other things. Shadows. Shadows were wiped out when the Moon first appeared, after a meteor struck Earth. The gravitational pull of the moon kept them away. Though, as the moon suddenly disappeared from the orbit, the shadows once again appeared, and killed off most of the disease survivors. Now, only about 8,000 people live in the world, and there is a popular group of rebel survivors in New York City. These survivors are the closest in the world to the Shadow Fortress, and are the only ones that can save the human race from becoming completely extinct. This is the Prolouge of ATA. Help make the story.

A beeping sound harshly entered her dreams. It wasn't light on her ears, and after a moment, she realized it wasn't in her dreams. Flashing her eyes open, and immediately regretting it, Melody finally gained consciousness. Her arms felt dead, her eyelids heavy, and her guts hurt like hell.

Annabelle walked into the Infirmary. She noticed Melody's eyes open then closed. "Finally," she spoke aloud, "You've awaken Miss." she had a small smile on her face.

Melody heard the voice, and she cringed.
Too loud. . she thought, Too loud.
"What happened?" she meant to say, but it came out sounding like she was trying to gargle water while speaking.

Annabelle sighed softly. She couldn't understand the girl. She walked over to her side. "I think it's better if you drink water before you speak." she spoke in a soft voice, she hurried to a small sink that was in the Infirmary and poured water in a cup before bringing it over. "You've been asleep for quite a while."

Loki stopped sorting, the clanging of the metallic instruments abruptly ceasing. Though, after a few seconds of silence, he continued.

Bella popped her head inside the door. "Is she okay?" She asked Loki and Annabelle, not waiting for an answer before the walked over to Melody and asked "Are you okay?" Her big hazel does eyes filled with worry.

Thankfully, Melody sipped the liquid. She was unnaturally aware of it going down her throat, and she could almost feel the cold make it's way through her body. The blonde girl shivered.
"What happened?" she asked again, in a hoarse whisper.
