Talking with taryn (haha yes again)

Heather sat on the roof top and begain to hum a song her mom sang to her.

Taryn walked onto the roof. "Hey." He said.

"Hello," Heather chirped with a small smile. She had really grown to like this boy he hadn't insulted her but only given her compliments. She thought they could be good friends despite all their other friends dying around them.

Taryn smiled. "So, what'cha doin'?"

"Writing a song. Wanna hear?" she asked him.

"Sure." Taryn smiled and sat down next to her.

She sang to him "do you like it?" she asked smally.

IC: "Thanks. Why do you always compliment me?" She asked him curiously "You're not like the people back home in france."

"Well, 'cuz it's true. Everything I say." He said.

She frowned and then as she cam to realization that he wasn't being sarcastic she stared at him in shock "What do you mean?" she squeaked out utterly confused.

"I really mean what I say. I'm not just being nice." He replied.

"Thank you" She said the words coming out cracked and crumbled and sounding like she never had used them. A tear suddenly rolled down her cheek and she pulled up her sleeve reavealing scars one spelling out "i hate you".

"W-wha? Did you do that...t-to yourself?" Taryn asked, wondering what was going on.

She shook her head as the tears fell faster "My father hated me i had never been complimented by him he hated me and katie because he wanted a boy. If we so much as said we loved him or touched him he would beat us..." She explained as a sob racked her body.

"Hey. It's alright." He said, putting his arm around her. "He's not here. I am."

She slowly hugged him and buried her head in his shoulder but as she realized what she was doing she stood up "sorry.." She mumbled.

"Hey," he said standing, "don't be sorry. I put my arm around you first."

"But i shouldn't have done it." She said "besides you wouldn't like me like i like you" She mumbled only slightly audible.

"Hey, who said that?" He said, looking into her eyes.

"It's just logic taryn. No one could ever love me." She mumbled.
