Adrian continued to slash through shadows but even more forcefully now. She had found her main goal in this fight. To get to Liz. It was a subconscious goal that she wasn't even aware of, but it was there. But suddenly, a shadow knocked her to the floor while she was slightly distracted and pinned her down. She wriggled this way and that trying to get free, but it wasn't working. She cursed under her breath.

Loki looked around the room, and was thrown back. A large shadow with orange eyes blew fire at him. Elites crowded it.

Chelsea took out two arrows and started to hit them with all she had but it wasn't enough there where to many. She looked around for others, but only to be pilled on by shadows but she fought her way back out with scratches almost covering her arms.

Loki slashed at the Elites, but the flame shadow was quick. It took a spine from the back of it's head, and slashed him. He flew into the wall. "Damnit...." he breathed. An elite flew at him but he stabbed it, and threw it's corpse into another Elite, before they both disappeared.

The monstrosity of a shadow kicked him on the ground, making Reuben cough out blood. "To much....steroids..." He struggled to his feet, where the shadow picked him up by the throat and gripped tighter and tigheter. "Fuck you with something hard and sandpapery..." He dropped his sword and tried to pry the hands open to no avail.

Liz's sword dropped away from Skylar's blade. She grabbed Skylar's sword and moved the blade in front of her heart. "One move and you can end all this. But," she continued, "if you do. You will end your chances to be on the side that accepts you." Skylar thought a moment. She made one single motion with her hand and the blade went through Liz's chest and pierced her heart. "Looks like I lost my chances." she whispered. Liz slid to her knees and looked up at Skylar in shock. She knew it was suicide coming. Maybe that's why she did it. The shadows moved away and revealed Skylar's blade in Liz's chest.

"Reuben!" Loki shouted, and leapt for him. Though, the Flame shadow hit loki dead in the chest, sending him spiralling backwards.

Reuben looked into the monster shadows eyes before his head drooped and he stopped struggling. The shadow's eyes lit with a horrible delight, when a shape moved across the Wal-Mart. The baby shadow broke free of the sock and rushed the monster, grabbing hold of its leg as it rand around like a bull.

Skylar noticed Reuben and her blade slipped out of Liz, dropping her body to the ground. She rushed over to him and the shadow.

Loki grimaced and leapt off the wall, landing on the ground and uppercutting the flame shadow. It spat, but Loki was quick, and he finsihed it off with a dozen speedy slashes. "Reuben!" he repeated, and ran across towards the large shadow.

Chelsea saw the Shadow that was holding Reuben. She couldn't move because of the shadows around her. She ignored the shadows attacking her and used her bow and shot the shadow attacking Reuben in the back hoping she helped

The shadow released hold of its opponent to deal with Chelsea. Reuben hit the ground and laid motionless.

The shadow that held Adrian down turned to look at Liz, freezing mid-strike. He had already done some damage to Adrian, leaving scratches and bruises, but nothing too dangerous. Adrian glanced over too with a sight smile on her face before she grabbed her sword and shoved it through the shadow's chest, making it dissolve. She then stood up with her sword ready only to see that everyone was now helping Reuben.

Loki ran towards him, until he was tripped by a nightcrawler. He hit the ground, and spun around, and was just in time to raise his sword to have it clash with it's claws. They both struggled to have the strength to prevail, but Loki was tired. The claws were slipping closer and closer to his neck.

Skylar sliced the Nightcrawler's neck. "C'mon!" she growled. She was upset.

Chelsea shot the Shadow again but taking damage from the other shadows around her. A shadow tripped her up and she feel to the ground with a thud. She tried to get up but her ankle failed on her and she collapsed again

Loki nodded, hauli9ng himself to his feet. The shadows were depleting, mainly because a lot were retreating. About 20 or 30 remained.

A shadow jumped on Skylar's back and brought her to the ground. It started slashing at her back. She cried out in pain.

Loki threw it off with a quick slice. "Are you oka-" he was stopped as he saw Chelsea fall. "Excuse me." he said, running to her.

Adrian, though weak, continued to battle the shadows. Her head was spinning and aching but she kept pushing through until she found herself paired up with another shadow, a Nightcrawler she guessed, that took time do defeat. It had knocked her to the ground of couple times, and she had struggled to get back to her feet, but eventually she managed to catch it with her sword and it dissolved almost immediately.

Loki slashed the shadow that tripped Chelsea. "Are you alright?" he asked. "Are you able to keep fighting?"

Skylar's hand went to her back. She winced when she touched her ripped flesh. She moved her hand away and stared at the blood. She noticed she was a few steps away from Reuben.

Reuben's eyes shot open. "I-I can't..." His breathing was ragged, and he kept looking to his left arm.

"I can't stand, but I can keep fighting if I have my bow. Don't worry about me, go check on Reuben." She said with smile. A Shadow came at her but she quickly shot it with her bow and it disappeared.

Loki was reluctant, but nodded. "Alright. Good luck." he said, before running over, slashing shadows in the process.
