The remake of ATA, when the human race goes endangered.

ATA-How it Happened
It was 2017. The Moon suddenly left it's orbit, and the Earth was a dark cold place. Millions caught disease from the cold and darkness, many became crazy and committed suicide, and many were killed by other things. Shadows. Shadows were wiped out when the Moon first appeared, after a meteor struck Earth. The gravitational pull of the moon kept them away. Though, as the moon suddenly disappeared from the orbit, the shadows once again appeared, and killed off most of the disease survivors. Now, only about 8,000 people live in the world, and there is a popular group of rebel survivors in New York City. These survivors are the closest in the world to the Shadow Fortress, and are the only ones that can save the human race from becoming completely extinct. This is the Prolouge of ATA. Help make the story.

"REUBEN!" shouted Sorren when he walked into the door with Bella. Loki's head appeared from behind an aisle. "What happened now?"

Bella tugged Sorren into the infirmary. "Sit down, and drink this." She handed him a bottle of water, threading a needle.

"Seriously. Drink it." She pressed, slapping the bottle of water into Sorren's hand and giving Loki her threaded needle. "I already cleaned the wound, so he's ready for the closure." She recited, feeling as though she was living the times that she had watched her father doctor patients, with his nurse by his side.

"He fucking attacked me." said Sorren. Loki shook his head. "Since this is in his head, I know something better than stitches."
He disappeared and returned with a stapler. "Staples."
Sorren's eyes widened. "You aren't going near me with that thing!"

Bella smiled. "Good idea." She said, smally, taking the needle. "Wait, do you even know what this is? Im no anesthesiologist either." Nonetheless, she tested the needles capability. It worked fine.

Bella acted quick, and stuck the needle in his vein on the wrist, hitting her pinpoint perfectly. She pushed inward, and the toxic sleep was injected into Sorren's bloodstream. "Just sit down." She said gingerly, placing a light hand in his shoulder.

Sorren was about to yell, but he was losing consciousness. He slumped down in the chair and blacked out. Loki smiled. "Nice one." he said, and parted the hair in back of Sorren's head. He started stapling the wound, and with 4 shots, he was finished. "Alright." he said. "Use these Smelling Salts.." he tossed them to her.
