The remake of ATA, when the human race goes endangered.

ATA-How it Happened
It was 2017. The Moon suddenly left it's orbit, and the Earth was a dark cold place. Millions caught disease from the cold and darkness, many became crazy and committed suicide, and many were killed by other things. Shadows. Shadows were wiped out when the Moon first appeared, after a meteor struck Earth. The gravitational pull of the moon kept them away. Though, as the moon suddenly disappeared from the orbit, the shadows once again appeared, and killed off most of the disease survivors. Now, only about 8,000 people live in the world, and there is a popular group of rebel survivors in New York City. These survivors are the closest in the world to the Shadow Fortress, and are the only ones that can save the human race from becoming completely extinct. This is the Prolouge of ATA. Help make the story.

Reuben walked through the museum. He had left Baby at the Wal-Mart, where he was trying to kill all the inhabitants there. He looked at a crater in the floor and studied it, remembering that fateful day.

A soft bark came from behind Reuben, and then grew louder. All the sudden, a greyhound jumped from the shadows and tackled the boy, licking his face, and whimpering. Bella came a few seconds later, with a chewed up leash. "Get off him!" She squealed, trying to pull the giant dog off Reuben, and failing miserably.

Bella giggled, then stomped her foot. "Hilly, heel." She said, forgetting she had taught the dog that trick. The light gray bear-dog wiggled over to her feet. She rushed to help Reuben up. A big fat black bow sat in her blond curls. "I'm really, really, really sorry!" She gushed, helping barely to get him back to his feet.

Bella still scream, and yanked her gun out of the butt pocket of her skinny jeans. Her face changed completely and she ran in front of Reuben, her face fierce, and her teeth bared.
She looked vicious.
She looked deadly.
She looked not like Bella at all.
Bullet's rained out of her gun's barrel, and shattered the bone, chunks flying everywhere.

Wall-Walker busted out in full form with a roar, swiping at Bella with a damaged hand.

Reuben ran up, slicing at the dinosaur with his sword. Wall-Walker looked as it was hit, before knocking Reuben to the ground with a flick of it's head.

Wall-Walker stood over Reuben when a form landed on it's head. It turned quickly and stabbed the ancient beast. Reuben jumped to his feet and scaled the skeletal leg until he was on it's back.

"Holy crap!" Bella screamed. She never cussed. Ever. She shot at the legs joint as soon as Reuben was out of range. The leg groaned, and feel, shattering bone spitting everywhere. Including at Bella. Shards of the stone hard things flew at her, cutting her face in tiny little cuts, that seemed harmless, but were actually insidious. She screamed, and dropped her gun, holding her cheeks.

The dinosaur fell. Reuben stood over it and raised his sword, stabbing it with a final creak. Next to his sword was a cutlass. Cloud picked it out and glared at Reuben.

Bella cried out, blood seeping through a cut in her jeans, as well as her figures that groped at her cheeks. A giant piece of bone had wedged it's way into her mid thigh. She screamed a blood curdling cry. "Reuben! Reuben help me!" She screeched, blood seeping down and painting the front of her white shirt red.

Cloud rushed over and poured a liquid into the wound. He tore a piece of shirt off of Reuben. "Hey!" He protested. Cloud ignored him and pulled it out before putting the piece of cloth on. "That should keep it from getting bad until you can get proper treatment." Cloud said smoothly.

Bella still cried. Not because her cheeks hurt, not because she had almost died, not because she had a four inch gash in her leg. No, she cried because she was scared. It was usually what happened after a major fight.

Cloud patted her back. "Crying gets you no where." He said a little coldly, before running off into the dark.

Reuben stared after him. He couldn't just leave the girl there, but he couldn't let Cloud get away.
