ATA-How it Happened
It was 2017. The Moon suddenly left it's orbit, and the Earth was a dark cold place. Millions caught disease from the cold and darkness, many became crazy and committed suicide, and many were killed by other things. Shadows. Shadows were wiped out when the Moon first appeared, after a meteor struck Earth. The gravitational pull of the moon kept them away. Though, as the moon suddenly disappeared from the orbit, the shadows once again appeared, and killed off most of the disease survivors. Now, only about 8,000 people live in the world, and there is a popular group of rebel survivors in New York City. These survivors are the closest in the world to the Shadow Fortress, and are the only ones that can save the human race from becoming completely extinct.

Skye sat in the moonlight crying. She was thinking about her mother and father, and their lost sister Shiloh. If only... Skye thought. If only I had grabbed her hand... She would be with us right now.... Why didn't I grab her hand..... Looking back, She remembered Shiloh was screaming, she reached out her hand. She tried to reach for her hand, but Darren pulled her away as the burning rubble fell onto her. It should have been me... It should have been me..... why wasen't it me....

Odin appeared a few yards behind, grinning. "Oh, what do we have here? A grieving human?"
The commanding half-blood narrowed his eyes, throwing a jet black crystal to the ground in front of her. "Touch that, and the pain will go away. Never again will you have to worry about being killed."

Adrian was off towards the observatory making one of her infrequent visits to the large telescope there. She had no true reason to be there, but it felt good to get out and go somewhere instead of being cooped up inside the Walmart all of the time. She slowly strolled along the path until she finally reached the observatory, making her way inside. That's when she saw Sky and Odin, of course! "You..." She muttered, pulling out her sword. "What are you doing here?"
