ATA-How it Happened
It was 2017. The Moon suddenly left it's orbit, and the Earth was a dark cold place. Millions caught disease from the cold and darkness, many became crazy and committed suicide, and many were killed by other things. Shadows. Shadows were wiped out when the Moon first appeared, after a meteor struck Earth. The gravitational pull of the moon kept them away. Though, as the moon suddenly disappeared from the orbit, the shadows once again appeared, and killed off most of the disease survivors. Now, only about 8,000 people live in the world, and there is a popular group of rebel survivors in New York City. These survivors are the closest in the world to the Shadow Fortress, and are the only ones that can save the human race from becoming completely extinct.

Annabelle sat on the stairs pf the hotel. She was waiting to get up the nerve to go in. She heard it was VERY bloody on the inside.

The lobby was dark and depressing. There was a dripping in the corner. Loki walked over to it, and outstretched his finger, as fresh blood dripped on it. "Weird.." he whispered.

Suddenly, a loud roar broke the silence. Blood exploded from multiple places in the ceiling, and out came a few Nightcrawlers. The blood though, never stopped flowing...

Bella screamed at a big puddle of blood stained her white shirt. Her eyes seemed to change colors a bit, and get more glossy, as she pulled out her gun and shot viciously at the nightcrawlers. "Die moutherfuckers!" It sounded even dirtier coming out of this innocent girls mouth.

A nightcrawler lunged at Annabelle. She held up her sword to block and the black monster crashed into her. She fell to the floor.

The Nightcrawlers were down. The blood stopped. There was a point of silence, but suddenly, a loudspeaker rang. A strange breathing came from the other line, and lasted for a few minutes, until the elevator door opened on it's own. Inside the elevator was a decapitated body, and blood smears.

Reuben stabbed it through the chest, freeing Annabelle. He turned around at the sight of the body and crossed his heart. Walking towards the elevator.
