Lance went over to the match pile, and picked up one. He lit it over the wood, and watched it crackle. Suddenly though, a roar sounded. "The hell?" he backed away as he fire grew, and something stepped out. A large shadow with red eyes and a flaming tail.

It roared as fire appeared in it's hand. Lance took out his shotgun. "It might ruin the base!" he shouted.

Lance aimed, and fired, as the shadow roared. It shot an ember at Lance who ducked. It flew out the window. (Thankfully)

Lance ignored Danielle and fired at it some more, and when out of ammo, Took out his combat knife, made out of special bronze. He ran at the monster, slashing.
