Complete Boredom...

The doors to the main company building opened up slowly to reveal Adrian entering the first room. She quietly unsheathed her sword, prepared for almost anything that might be prepared for her. She cautiously looked around, observing anything unusual before progressing into the hallway. There, the sight was a little nerving. Dried blood stained the walls from the employees who used to work here, and in the few rooms that branched off the hall held a few mauled bodies here and there. Her body suddenly shook violently for a moment, freeing a lot of the nervousness that had built up inside of her. "Man, this place is creepy."

"Yes it is," A voice replied right behind Adrian. Suddenly there was a small click that seemed to echo throughout the quiet building and the flat of the object where the sound came from was placed right on the back of her head. Instantly Adrian could tell it was a gun. "You have any last words, rebel 'survivor?'" The voice asked, spitting at the word 'survivor.'

A shadow walked out and placed his cutlass behind the girl's neck. "Don't make any movements, half-blood."

The girl, small and frail-looking, smirked as she gripped her gun tighter and pressed it harder onto Adrian's head, but other than that she didn't move "Try to kill me and she goes down too."

Adrian by this time had completely frozen out of fear for her own life, but was relieved ever-so-slightly when she heard someone else's voice. Someone who seemed to be on her side, anyway.

The figure didn't seem to move, before his hand flashed in the air and he crushed a vile in his hand. It exploded with a loud bang and sent distracting smoke spraying all over the place.

The girl upon seeing the explosion jumped away from the smoke, her gun leaving the back of Adrian's head and her neck moving away from the figure's cutlass.

Adrian then took that instant to whip around and face her near killer, pointing her sword straight towards the girl's throat with only a few inches of space between the two. "Who are you?" She asked.
