ATA-How it Happened
It was 2017. The Moon suddenly left it's orbit, and the Earth was a dark cold place. Millions caught disease from the cold and darkness, many became crazy and committed suicide, and many were killed by other things. Shadows. Shadows were wiped out when the Moon first appeared, after a meteor struck Earth. The gravitational pull of the moon kept them away. Though, as the moon suddenly disappeared from the orbit, the shadows once again appeared, and killed off most of the disease survivors. Now, only about 8,000 people live in the world, and there is a popular group of rebel survivors in New York City. These survivors are the closest in the world to the Shadow Fortress, and are the only ones that can save the human race from becoming completely extinct.

Ari took shelter in a small house, horribly hungry. Sighed, he slunk onto a couch, arm completely wrapped in bandages. His sickles leaned against the couch, at his feet.

Chelsea appeared in the window. "I knew I would find you here." She said. She had something behind her back. but didn't show it.

"Like I could kill some one." She laughed a little. She took was from behind her back and tossed it at him. What looked like a sandwich poked out of the bag. "And it wasn't hard to figure out, with Reuben calling you Master and all."

It was in his same injured arm. It completely sunk through, pinning him to the couch. "W-what...?" Ari whispered, wincing. He knew she was there to kill him. He should have never trusted her.

She kept laughing in a creepy way. She shot another arrow but missed and hit the other arrow. The arrow came out of his arm. She disappeared and reappeared next to him and grabbed the arrow. She had started to use the arrow as a dagger.

Ari quickly got up, grabbing a sickle. His bandages were being soaked with blood. "I can't believe I trusted you. You all are messed up." he huffed.

Ari easily dodged, lodging the sickle into her stomach. It wasn't deep at all. Ari dug it out and kicked her back. (lol .u.)

She landed on the couch. She sat the frozen, her hand released the arrow. She did nothing besides an occasional twitch.

Ari panted, just looking at her. He wondered if he should help her or not. He had guessed hypnosis wouldn't work, for she seemed to be shadow-like. He slowly backed towards the door.

She blinked a couple of times, then looked up at him. She noticed the wound in his arm, and started to freak out. "I am so sorry! I didn't mean to!"
