What ATA Would Be Like If It Were Just A Zombie Apocalypse

Amethyst found herself waking up in a desk at the school. The girl in lolita that she didn't care remembering her name was next to her. All she could hear was moaning. Are Adrian and Loki finally- she cut that off real quick. She saw zombies walking past the window on the door to the classroom. Amethyst finally shook Annabelle awake.

Annabelle snapped her head up. "What!" she yelped. She heard the moaning as well. "Are Adrian and Loki...?" she questioned. Amethyst shook her head fast. "Oh. So what's going on?"

"Zombies." Amethyst said.

"Zombies? But... What about the shadows? What about the moon!" She looked outside to see sunlight being blocked by the shades. "What's going on!"

Reuben walked into the room wide eyed. "Amethyst!" he walked up with eyes of horror. "I swore I heard Adrian and Loki-" his eyes gazed over to the zombies. "Oh, it's just a shitload of zombies." His hand clenched into a fist. He had always hated zombies. Ever since that one incident at the zoo. His eyes flashed with anger. He was wearing heavier clothing since aquiring all of the scars he had gotten. His hand reached towards his sword.

Amethyst ran up and hugged him. "You're here!" she exclaimed. She didn't know who would be here since no one else was in the room except for the three.

Annabelle looked worried. "Have you seen Cloud?" she asked softly. Her eyes darted around, spying her surroundings better. A small child was crumpled in the corner of the room, blood dried all around its body. The head was missing so she couldn't tell if it were a boy or girl. A zombie... teacher? was mutilated and stabbed Jesus-style to the blackboard. The only difference was instead of a crown of thorns there was a nail through her brain, it looked newly done considering smashed, liquidated brains were oozing out around the nail and dripping to the blood stained floor, and one through each cheek, where the pink brains mixed in with the red blood, making the liquid fall faster. Annabelle shuddered.

Reuben embraced her gratefully. He pulled away a little bit. He took a moment before shaking his head slowly. "He was following me. One time I looked behind me and he wasn't there. I don't know where he's at-"

Cloud busted through the room coated in blood. He let out a weak smile and walked towards Annabelle. Blood plipped to the ground, running down the stitching in his clothes. His pale skin was tinted and his hair was left in a mess. This just added to his anger at Reuben.

Annabelle smiled. "Where were you!" she asked, half screamed. Suddenly, zombies crashed in after him. There skin was all torn and sliding down their limbs, revealing bloody muscle tissue and bones. They were covered in yellowish puss that mixed with the blood to make an orange liquid slipping slowly off their joints. Some of their jaws were missing and some of them were just barely hanging on by a skin piece. The smell was worse. Like a dead animal that had sat out in the sun for too long and was just rotting on asphalt as cars ran them over again and again smashing their guts and fur farther into the ground.

Amethyst screamed.

Reuben side stepped right in front of Amethyst and he swung his sword. He gagged everytime he slashed into one and its guts flew past his face. He realized that he liked shadows a lot better.

Cloud took out his cutlass and stabbed one through the face. "I was assaulted and trapped in a supply closet while Reuben kept running. I don't think he noticed." he said grimly.

Annabelle nodded, her sword out and flying, every time she slashed a zombie in half it exploded a new stench, soon she was also gagging on the fumes the zombies were giving out. "We... ne-need... out..." she tried to say in between coughs.

Amethyst nodded in agreement, too choked up to speak.

Reuben nodded. He looked around wildly for an exit. He slowly backed up and kicked a window, the shattered glass stabbed into his leg. He stood by the window and motioned for them to go out. He then looked out the window to see the long drop. "Oh fuckmuffins never mind!"

"L-looks... like we're... going to have to.... go through them...." She wheezed.

Amethyst took off a jacket she was wearing, feeling the hot temperature, and took her scythe, cutting the tough jean into strips big enough to cover a mouth and nose. She tied one over her face before tying one to Cloud's as he hacked away at the undead corpses. Once she was done she applied one to Annabelle and then to Reuben.

Reuben looked at the zombies and joined his brother in the massacre.
"Does this remind you of that one time at the zoo-" Cloud began.
"Don't fucking get me started on that." Reuben interrupted, slashing a zombie in half.

Soon the zombies became less and less. Suddenly a girl came in swinging an oddly shaped sword. Her hair was brown as was her eyes.

Reuben turned around at the sight of the girl. Luna? He turned back around to kill the zombie trying to eat his face.

Cloud was too busy almost getting his face eaten to look at the girl. He just hope she wouldn't try to kill them. He stabbed a zombie through. thankful for the quickly made mask.

Soon the zombies stopped and it was just a pile of dead corpses and a foul stench. The girl had one of those medical masks that helped prevent diseases from spreading. "Come with me." she ordered. You could tell from the sound of her voice she was not a girl to contradict.

Reuben looked at her strangely. "Didn't you try to kill us at one point in time?" he asked, rubbing his shoulder where Lance had stabbed him.

The girl gave him a weird look. "I don't even know you. And why would I kill you? You aren't a flesh eating zombie are you?"

He put his hands up- Hands?! He looked down and moved his left arm around. "Please don't tell me I'm just high as fuck..."

Amethyst gave him a weird look until she noticed both arms moving. Amethyst realized also that she couldn't speak, well she couldn't find her voice at least. All those other times I talked it was either one word or I was surprised. she figured.

Luna clapped her hands. "C'mon! We don't have all day! Those things aren't as stupid as we'd like them to be! Move your asses!" She didn't wait, she just started to walk.

Reuben slowly followed who appeared to be Luna. What was happening? He figured that Baby probably stuffed some PCP in his mouth while he was sleeping.

Cloud looked strangely at his brother's arm. He had never really asked why Reuben's arm didn't work. He followed the girl, looking warily around him.

Amethyst slipped her hand in Reuben's softly as they started to walk down a hallway filled will blood and throw up.

Luna turned around, walking backwards. "Nice masks. But these ones will work better." she grabbed out a little stack of the medical masks and passed them to each person. "They keep out the smell better as well."

Reuben gripped her hand tighter as they walked down the hallway. He nodded a 'thank you' to her and strayed closer to Amethyst at the site of the gruesome bodies.

Annabelle stayed close behind Cloud as they walked. She was thankful for the mask. It felt nice to breathe better. Luna lead them to a stairway. "Be sure to have weapons ready." she remarked.

Cloud's hand automatically grabbed for Annabelle's. He wrapped his other hand around his cutlass.

Zombie's limped everywhere. They were mindless. That is until Luna chucked a rock towards the door. Next sound was so loud covering your ears couldn't mask it. Just one single note of roaring. A giant, fat zombie appeared in their view. "There he is." Luna whispered. Blood gushed from his mouth from his previous victim as did intestine pieces.

Annabelle lifted a hand to her mouth. "I miss the shadows."

Luna looked over at her. "What shadows? Have you guys lived so long to never see a zombie?"

Amethyst almost said something but her voice was missing once more. She settled for a soft sigh.

The big zombie didn't wait for them to come to it. It smashed all the zombies away as it tried for the gang. Luna was ready though. "Clearly you guys aren't ready for this." She launched herself at it, her sword moving and slicing through his head. His hand had made a grab for her at the same time and smacked her to the ground. The zombies that had been around were all sprawled around on their backs attempting to get up for the fresh pray. Luna watched as the zombie she killed tumbled backward. But soon the other zombies came after her. Annabelle couldn't watch. She raced down the stairs, slashing in front of her with her eyes closed. She got most of the zombies, but Luna got the rest when she recovered.

Reuben stared wildly at the carnage around them. "Luna... you've never met the shadows?" he put his hand on his sword. What was going on?

Luna turned around. "What the fuck are you talking about!? And how do you know my name! Just who the hell are you guys!? I mean you've never fought zombies and you keep going off about shadows."
