The remake of ATA, when the human race goes endangered.

ATA-How it Happened
It was 2017. The Moon suddenly left it's orbit, and the Earth was a dark cold place. Millions caught disease from the cold and darkness, many became crazy and committed suicide, and many were killed by other things. Shadows. Shadows were wiped out when the Moon first appeared, after a meteor struck Earth. The gravitational pull of the moon kept them away. Though, as the moon suddenly disappeared from the orbit, the shadows once again appeared, and killed off most of the disease survivors. Now, only about 8,000 people live in the world, and there is a popular group of rebel survivors in New York City. These survivors are the closest in the world to the Shadow Fortress, and are the only ones that can save the human race from becoming completely extinct. This is the Prolouge of ATA. Help make the story.

Today, I went and saw Transformers: Dark of the Moon. EPIC. However, there was a point in the movie when I was reminded of this site, but it was slightly different.

I'm thinking about writing a new novel (and trying to finish it this time) about some sort of apocalypse thing, and a group of people that have to fight through it. What do you think? And is that okay, or would there be some sort of copyright claim?

The apocalypse idea is perfectly fine, but when you get into 'a group', you are straying into the ATA plot a bit. D:

Hm... well, how big is this group? Because like 5 people is normal for any apocalypse book. But when the group just grows larger and larger it's when it begins to resemble ATA. And are these people traveling? Are they in a base?

Well, looks like I'm not going to write it. Seriously, I would have put my heart and soul into this story, making it one of the best novels I've ever written, and I was 99.9% sure I would finish it, but there are more no's than yes's total (counting from WCC).
