The remake of ATA, when the human race goes endangered.

ATA-How it Happened
It was 2017. The Moon suddenly left it's orbit, and the Earth was a dark cold place. Millions caught disease from the cold and darkness, many became crazy and committed suicide, and many were killed by other things. Shadows. Shadows were wiped out when the Moon first appeared, after a meteor struck Earth. The gravitational pull of the moon kept them away. Though, as the moon suddenly disappeared from the orbit, the shadows once again appeared, and killed off most of the disease survivors. Now, only about 8,000 people live in the world, and there is a popular group of rebel survivors in New York City. These survivors are the closest in the world to the Shadow Fortress, and are the only ones that can save the human race from becoming completely extinct. This is the Prolouge of ATA. Help make the story.

Stupidest idea ever. .

Melody chose to ignore what her feelings were telling her. She just felt like beating the cheese out of the creatures that had ruined Earth's peaceful life. Slowly, she pushed open the door to the mall.

Adrian had followed Melody into the mall, curious as to see what it looked like. Never had she been in the mall before and there shouldn't have been too many threats from what she'd heard.

Adrian shot a glance back at the door as they crept farther into the empty mall. "I'm not sure..." She said softly, her voice echoing strangely off of the walls.

Suddenly, a loud crash could be heard, echoing through the building.
Melody's head snapped to where the noise had come from, and she crept softly towards it.

She sighed quietly, trying to get rid of some of her nerves. "Honestly, I don't think so. But it might be better to go ahead and try to get rid of these shadows... or shadow/monster thing."

Adrian followed her as quietly as she could though she hated how loud her footsteps seemed to echo in her ears. As they went deeper and deeper into the mall, paranoia seemed to set in. Every slight sound she heard made her turn to look.
