"Easy foor you to say..." Midnight said, ducking as the beast flew at her. When she did though, she held her and high so the dagger sliced at the beasts stomich.

The valgon spun out of control and crashed into the ground. Baby ran and dug its claws into its neck, turning it into dust. Baby crawled back up his arm.

Midnight put her dagger back in its place and slowly got up, visiablly shaken.

Midnight shuddered. "Good to know, I guess." she looked at Baby, "What IS that thing??"

"It's a standard shadow. They're kind of like the grunts in the Shadow King Army. We found this one as a baby and took care of it." he told her, the shadow slipping down his arm and climbing back down again.

Midnights eyes grew big. " That helps calm me down soo much.." she said softly, still eyeing Baby.

"Oh, it's only because my brother distorted it's will with a magical whistle in hopes of killing me." he explained. He didn't really try to elaborate, things like this made sense now.
