Ari sat on his couch, spinning a sickle. He had been hanging out with the Walmart Gang too much. Why not move into the place? It was proven that they could be a big help in a fight. Deciding to take a walk, he put on his cloak and draped the hood over his head, covering his eyes. He had lost his touch. His way of messing with a human's intellect. Did he still even have that sort of power on a person any more?
Ari walked outside, breathing in the cool dead air.

Midnight was walking down the road, reciting lyrics to a song she used to always listen to. She was oblivous too her surroundings, and didn't see Ari.

Ari glanced over at Midnight, but said nothing. Suddenly, though he blinked, as a nightcrawler jumped out of the bushes, heading straight for her. He narrowed his eyes (although they weren't visible), and spun his sickle, slicing at it. It was immediately beheaded, and fell to the ground.

Melody had been walking along ~~hoping for a chance to see Ari~~, minding her own business, when she heard a nightcrawler on the next street.
Finally, a fight! she thought eagerly, and raced over there.

Seeing the Nightcrawler "die", Midnight screamed and backed away a few steps, shaking slightly. She knew Ari was there, though she couldn't pull her eyes off of where the Nightcrawler was.

Ari grinned. Plan time. "Damnit! Such a stupid nightcrawler! It ruined my plans of killing that girl!" he hissed in a rough accent.

Having become somewhat spy-like in approaching the scene, Melody was hidden behind a bush in one of the yards lining the street. Wondering why Ari was acting like that, she remained hidden, just to watch the proceedings.

Midnight froze slightly and turned to him, looking at Ari with wide eyes, "W-Why would you want to do that?." she said softly.

"Why, that's because I am a shadow." Ari hissed, holding a sickle up to Midnight's neck. "Though, sometimes friendly fire is the only way to kill a human. Wouldn't you agree?"
His accent was Scottish in a way.

Midnight sighed softly, watching him with scared eyes, "Do wht you have to do..." she said softly, showing no need to fight.

What is he doing. . ? Melody thought, peeking over the top of the bush. Neither of them saw her, both being too focused on the immediate problem (whatever that was).

"Whatever you say..." he muttered, throwing her to the ground. He raised his sickle, and brought it down. Though, when it was inches from her face, he started laughing. "Nah. Only kidding." he said in a plain American accent.

Midnight had stopped breathing as soon as her back touched the ground ad her eyes never left the weapon. She was so focused on the sickle she didn't hear what Ari said.

Seeing she didn't hear him, Ari had another idea. "Argggh!" he yelled in the accent once more, as if he was in pain. "I'm on Ceres Lane. But this isn't over.." he shouted, running off. He ran in the direction of Melody, snickering.

"That was mean," she laughed.

"Both what I did, and what you did to poor Midnight," Melody told him, holding out a hand to help him up. "You realize you probably just got on her bad side?"

"Hey. At least it worked. I am able to still trick people." he murmured. "And you are able to trip people."
Ari got to his feet. "What exactly were you doing up my street? Stalking me?" he asked in a teasing tone.

Midnight stared at where Ari ran. She hadn't understood anything he had done, other then threaten her with a weapon. "Stupid asshole.." she muttered, the first mean thing she had said in a while.

"Just. . You know. . " Melody had turned a bright shade of scarlet. "Going for a walk." To change the subject, she glanced over at Midnight. "We should go talk to her."

"How come?" Ari asked. "I'd think it would be fun to have her try to kill me in a later time thinking I am a shadow. Everyone will dub her crazy."
He smiled. "Now, then. I have something to say."

Not knowing where the weird boy went, Midnight continued walking down the street, not knowing it was the exact direction Ari had ran.
