ATA-How it Happened
It was 2017. The Moon suddenly left it's orbit, and the Earth was a dark cold place. Millions caught disease from the cold and darkness, many became crazy and committed suicide, and many were killed by other things. Shadows. Shadows were wiped out when the Moon first appeared, after a meteor struck Earth. The gravitational pull of the moon kept them away. Though, as the moon suddenly disappeared from the orbit, the shadows once again appeared, and killed off most of the disease survivors. Now, only about 8,000 people live in the world, and there is a popular group of rebel survivors in New York City. These survivors are the closest in the world to the Shadow Fortress, and are the only ones that can save the human race from becoming completely extinct.

Kross decided to head up to the roof and once he got up there the area was bare.
"No one here... thank god." He mummbeled.
He turned around and rested his elbow against the rim of the roof. He looked around at the city of ruin around him, it was eerie but in a beautiful way.

Suddenly, two small, little, blank, red eyes peered over the edge of the roof. They were intently staring right at Kross, but they didn't seem to be attached to anything. They were just... floating there, watching, waiting.

Kross quickly took a few steps back and drew his blade.
"What are you?!" He questioned, ready for a fight.
The floating eyes caught him off gaurd, but he was ready and waiting for the reply.

Slowly, the eyes floated up over the edge and onto the roof. There, a small transparent body formed around the red dots. "Suuuuu..." It attempted to say menacingly, but it came out kind of cute sounding.

Ocean ran upstairs upon hearing something cute sounding. When she got onto the roof she froze as she saw two red eyes staring at a boy she saw before, but never spoke with.

Kross looked at the creature in surprise... it looked creepy but sounded... cute... He turned around at the sound of an approaching figure and a girl standing there. He never met her, but he had seen her before when he came into the walmart.
"Oh... hey." He said turning back to focus at form before him.

The small little creature was suddenly taken aback by how he spoke. With a small glare at nothing in particular, he tried again. "Kill..." He whispered in a raspy voice. Finally a small smirk appeared. He could finally speak some!

Ocean cringed her nose in disgust. "That wasn't cute at all.." She muttered, as she stared at the little thing and took a few more steps forward.

Sanies gave Ocean a strange look. He was menacing! Why was she coming closer? With a look of determination he floated right up to her and tried to attack her with his talon-like claws, but each time hissmall arms went right through her.

Kross didn't bother to figure out anymore so he just let go of the thing and started to walk back to the way he came from. Before he left he turned his head around and the girl.
"By the way, names Kross." He said, and with that he left.
