The remake of ATA, when the human race goes endangered.

ATA-How it Happened
It was 2017. The Moon suddenly left it's orbit, and the Earth was a dark cold place. Millions caught disease from the cold and darkness, many became crazy and committed suicide, and many were killed by other things. Shadows. Shadows were wiped out when the Moon first appeared, after a meteor struck Earth. The gravitational pull of the moon kept them away. Though, as the moon suddenly disappeared from the orbit, the shadows once again appeared, and killed off most of the disease survivors. Now, only about 8,000 people live in the world, and there is a popular group of rebel survivors in New York City. These survivors are the closest in the world to the Shadow Fortress, and are the only ones that can save the human race from becoming completely extinct. This is the Prolouge of ATA. Help make the story.

Adrian was walking slowly around this strange place she had never seen before. With her father's sword (that he had always admired through a glass case in their house) gripped in her hands, she made her way through the streets cautiously. It was dead quiet with nothing, not even the wind, stirring about. She constantly turned her head around to look behind her, paranoid that there was something following her. It was only when she nearly ran into a huge building did that feeling of dread and fear magnify. This is an old Walmart. She thought as she studied the building. Maybe I should take a look inside.

A resident, a bluish black haired boy, yawned sleepily from lack of sleep. Walking into plain view of Adrian, he stopped and spotted her. "Ah!" he exclaimed a little too loud,a sword appearing in his hand.

Surprised and completely caught off-guard, she backed up a few steps before she raised her own sword in front of her for defense. Only when she realized it was a boy did she lower her guard some. "Who are you?" She asked nervously, her voice shaking.

Loki nodded and led her to an aisle, filled with sleeping bags and a campfire. "This is our campsite. It is where we sleep. Over there is the bathrooms." he pointed to a couple of doors. "Complete with showers, too. Our food and clothes are...well.....all around us. We also have an infirmary, in case you are injured, and a bit of target practice.." When he finished, he added. "You know, you may stay here, if you'd like. We enjoy new company."

She carefully looked at everything with amazement. She never knew there could be so many people that had survived. Especially in one place. Is there a slight possibility my sister could be alive then? she asked herself before shaking the thought out of her head. "Well, this place is amazing! I think I might stay." She said happily.
