The remake of ATA, when the human race goes endangered.

ATA-How it Happened
It was 2017. The Moon suddenly left it's orbit, and the Earth was a dark cold place. Millions caught disease from the cold and darkness, many became crazy and committed suicide, and many were killed by other things. Shadows. Shadows were wiped out when the Moon first appeared, after a meteor struck Earth. The gravitational pull of the moon kept them away. Though, as the moon suddenly disappeared from the orbit, the shadows once again appeared, and killed off most of the disease survivors. Now, only about 8,000 people live in the world, and there is a popular group of rebel survivors in New York City. These survivors are the closest in the world to the Shadow Fortress, and are the only ones that can save the human race from becoming completely extinct. This is the Prolouge of ATA. Help make the story.

Chelsea was wondering around. She saw many thing but encountered no shadows. She found that odd. She saw the Burger King and went inside.

Reuben followed Chelsea. He never trusted people to leave alone after what happened with Loki. His shadow made a squeak as they entered. "Chelsea, be careful!" He tried to say.

Chelsea looked around nothing seemed to be here. She place her hand on the run downed counter. She took it off and walked around a bit more then she felt a sharp pain. Chelsea looked at her arm and screamed.

She sat there on the ground trying to get it off but it wouldn't. She showed Reuben the shadow leech. "How do you get it off?" She asked shyly.

She flinched as he slashed at it. She looked at it but her eyes darkened as she still saw the head.
"Great...." She said. She took out one of her arrows and poked at it, but it still hung on.

"Yeah, let's go. Now." He thought of the fateful night when they tried to rescue Zathe. He couldn't imagine Chelsea in that situation. He kicked the doors open.

One whizzed past Reuben, and he got in a half turn when he was hit in the side. The shadow fled away as Reuben drew his sword from the ground. "Crazy bitch!" His side was bleeding porfusely.

He rolled from the volley, the arrow cracking off into his skin. He winced but stumbled up. He ducked before she could shoot and elbowed her on her cheek.

She jumped back after he elbowed her. She used her hand and rubbed the elbowed point. She was to distracted by the wound(ish thing)

She turned back to him and drew the string back on her bow with an arrow on it, but she struggled to fire it. She kept it in the same position. Her evil smile fading then she came back. She saw Reuben and his injuries and burst out into tears "I am so sorry! I didn't mean to! She cried.
