The remake of ATA, when the human race goes endangered.

ATA-How it Happened
It was 2017. The Moon suddenly left it's orbit, and the Earth was a dark cold place. Millions caught disease from the cold and darkness, many became crazy and committed suicide, and many were killed by other things. Shadows. Shadows were wiped out when the Moon first appeared, after a meteor struck Earth. The gravitational pull of the moon kept them away. Though, as the moon suddenly disappeared from the orbit, the shadows once again appeared, and killed off most of the disease survivors. Now, only about 8,000 people live in the world, and there is a popular group of rebel survivors in New York City. These survivors are the closest in the world to the Shadow Fortress, and are the only ones that can save the human race from becoming completely extinct. This is the Prolouge of ATA. Help make the story.

In the back room, there was a target room. Loki, when he decided to try to stay in his feet for more then five minutes, discovered it locked, and kicked down the door. There, he found a multitude of weapons. Smiling, he took two knives on chains, and went to work setting up the targets.

Adrian had just been strolling around Walmart when she heard the door being kicked in. "What was that?" She thought aloud before going to investigate. She then saw Loki and Chelsea which made her even more curious. "What's going on?" She asked.

"I'm...training." responded Loki, raising the knives. He charged forward, whipping one of the chains. The knife flew into a target, in a direct hit. He did the same with the other one, in a backhand. He ignored his throbbing head.

Before Loki could react, a huge boom shook through the place, followed by dust. Loki coughed. "What the fuck?" he shouted, throwing knives up.

Skylar ran out of the room. She was at the front doors. Shadows banged on them, wanting entry. A hole was in roof and many shadows were coming in.

Adrian shielded her eyes from the flying/falling debris before pulling out her sword. She didn't even take time to say anything before she glanced up and found Shadows pouring in through the hole in the roof. "Crap...." She muttered.

Loki spotted the hole and immediately whipped the knives at it. Shadows who were whipped fell to their doom, and dissolved before touching the ground.

There were too many. Two or three shadows jumped at each of hem. Loki felt one scratch his arm before he sliced them.

I guess we have to fight. She thought. She took out here bow and an arrow. She pulled a here bow string back and shot a shadow that was falling from the roof.

Reuben slapped a shadow senseless with the flat of his blade. They started to pile around him. In a desperate manouver, he stuffed his shadow in a sock and tossed it into the pile of blankets. He turned to see Liz and Skylar, but he couldn't help as a Elite attacked him from behind.

Adrian was quickly slashing at the shadows on top of her, though she definitely was left with some scratches. Suddenly, she turned to see Liz. Adrian's blood started to boil at the sight of her, but she couldn't do anything. There were still too many shadows to deal with.

Liz sighed and snapped her fingers. (I CALL UPON THE SHADOWS) Many shadows blocked her and Skylar from view. Skylar stared back at the girl. Their blades were still touching. "So. I would like you to join us. I've been watching you and have seen much potential."

Chelsea was surrounded with shadows. She couldn't use her bow any more so she used an arrow like a dagger and attacked the shadows on her.
