ATA-How it Happened
It was 2017. The Moon suddenly left it's orbit, and the Earth was a dark cold place. Millions caught disease from the cold and darkness, many became crazy and committed suicide, and many were killed by other things. Shadows. Shadows were wiped out when the Moon first appeared, after a meteor struck Earth. The gravitational pull of the moon kept them away. Though, as the moon suddenly disappeared from the orbit, the shadows once again appeared, and killed off most of the disease survivors. Now, only about 8,000 people live in the world, and there is a popular group of rebel survivors in New York City. These survivors are the closest in the world to the Shadow Fortress, and are the only ones that can save the human race from becoming completely extinct.

It was night, and hours after his 'surgery'. Sorren rose. "Oww. My head." he groaned, looking around. "What? Why am I am the Infirmary!?"

Baby leaped from the celing and landed on Sorren. He scrambled out and walked back moments later with Reuben. "Hey, look who woke up!"

Sorren ignored Reuben. "Well, you should have seen him after the whole thing. I thought he was a goner. Then, this shadow dude came and healed him or something." he explained. "I don't remember much afterwards."

Sorren threw Baby off, sighing. "Well, I think we should go after another Keeper tomorrow." he said excitedly. "We can get another gem! It'll be great!"

"Oh, right." Sorren said with a smile. "You weren't there when we beat that keeper. Basically, a Keeper is a strong shadow that guards the shadow King's great gems. The gems each have an element associated with them. We got the pure shadow one." he looked out the Infirmary window. "It will be cool to get another."
