ATA-How it Happened
It was 2017. The Moon suddenly left it's orbit, and the Earth was a dark cold place. Millions caught disease from the cold and darkness, many became crazy and committed suicide, and many were killed by other things. Shadows. Shadows were wiped out when the Moon first appeared, after a meteor struck Earth. The gravitational pull of the moon kept them away. Though, as the moon suddenly disappeared from the orbit, the shadows once again appeared, and killed off most of the disease survivors. Now, only about 8,000 people live in the world, and there is a popular group of rebel survivors in New York City. These survivors are the closest in the world to the Shadow Fortress, and are the only ones that can save the human race from becoming completely extinct.

Skye and Darren were just sitting around. "I wonder what's happening outside right now..." Skye said dreamingly. "I bet a shadow is killing someone..." Darren said, imagining things in his head. Skye looked at him. "I bet that shadow is ripping him piece by piece... and eating his limbs..." Skye looked at him disgusted. "... it's shadowy claws piercing through his skull, ripping it in half, and eating his brains.... and drinking his blood..." Skye was feeling queezy, but Darren just went on and on... "He's probrably just bones now... No, not even bones... The shadow probrably ate that too... he's just matter... and some stains of blood... and it's everywhe-" Skye clamped her hand over his mouth. "Shut up! Just shut up!" Darren licked her hand. Skye pulled away really fast, and slapped him with his own spit, then wiped the rest on his shirt.

Baby walked in, and stared up at Darren and Skye. It cocked it's head, overhearing their conversation.

Nobody noticed Baby. "You're a creep!" Skye yelled at him. "Am I now?" Darren said, laughed. " Give this creep a hug!" Darren started chasing her around.
"Dude! Get away!" Skye laughed. He tackled her and they just were cracking up on the floor. They both got up and sat down again. "No, but seriously, your a creeper..."

Baby dodged around their feet, and for his own safety, leaped up and latched on to Darren's face.

Baby reappeared outside the Campsite, looking strangely at the two. Reuben scooped him up and walked inside. "What's up?" He greeted.

Baby puffed into smoke and puffed in front of Darren again. It sniffed Darren's hand before opening it's mouth to reveal huge white fangs.

Reuben picked up Baby and put him on his dead arm. "He's got a little thing for human..." He said. Baby started to chew on his left arm, but Reuben couldn't feel it and didn't notice.
