ATA-How it Happened
It was 2017. The Moon suddenly left it's orbit, and the Earth was a dark cold place. Millions caught disease from the cold and darkness, many became crazy and committed suicide, and many were killed by other things. Shadows. Shadows were wiped out when the Moon first appeared, after a meteor struck Earth. The gravitational pull of the moon kept them away. Though, as the moon suddenly disappeared from the orbit, the shadows once again appeared, and killed off most of the disease survivors. Now, only about 8,000 people live in the world, and there is a popular group of rebel survivors in New York City. These survivors are the closest in the world to the Shadow Fortress, and are the only ones that can save the human race from becoming completely extinct.

Leysha stumbled around the road, kicking up dirt clouds with the tips of her boots. A half empty bottle was dangling from her hand as she took another swig and giggled all the way over to her ride.
Happily, she jumped on her motorcycle and started swerving down the dirt road.
"WHOOOOO!!!111!1one!11 Faster!" She yelled as she sped up to near 100 miles an hour. Thanks to her bad reflexes, she did not see the giant.. obvious endless pit at the end of the road until it was too late. She slammed on the breaks, but the bike could not handle it and flipped over, leaving her skidding across the ground as sliding into the pit.
"FUUUUUUU-"
The end. :3 It wasn't a cliff though, oh well. :'D

IC: Reuben stumbled up and looked at the bike. He had come to bury his brother. He was still dirty and tired from the dig. He gazed from the bike to the pit and put two and two together. He shook his head and started to walk away.

Alexander drew out a small throwing knife, "I don't believe that concerns you." He said in his usual drawled tone, stepping forward.

The shadow disappeared, and the knife stuck into his shoulder. Reuben didn't seem to notice at all, he was too busy looking for his friend.

Lyssa danced out of the way and stopped his sword with one of her elbow blades. "You have no idea what I'm talking about, do you?" She smirked. "I'm surprised it hasn't killed you yet."
