ATA-How it Happened
It was 2017. The Moon suddenly left it's orbit, and the Earth was a dark cold place. Millions caught disease from the cold and darkness, many became crazy and committed suicide, and many were killed by other things. Shadows. Shadows were wiped out when the Moon first appeared, after a meteor struck Earth. The gravitational pull of the moon kept them away. Though, as the moon suddenly disappeared from the orbit, the shadows once again appeared, and killed off most of the disease survivors. Now, only about 8,000 people live in the world, and there is a popular group of rebel survivors in New York City. These survivors are the closest in the world to the Shadow Fortress, and are the only ones that can save the human race from becoming completely extinct.

Out of Fuel

Leysha rode her bike down the street, glancing around at what seemed to be a strip mall at one time. She sighed, was there one place that wasn't thrown into ruin?
It didn't take long to find what she was looking for, a gas station. Yay! She pulled in and parked in front of a gas pump, bringing out the tools to syphen it dry. She soon found out that someone beat her too it. There wasn't a drop left.
"Shit." She frowned and kicked the pump. Honestly, it was just her luck. Her bike was running on empty as it was.

Nearby, shrieking sounded. It sounded like shadow, as think black fog hung in the air.

The young women glared around the clearing, searching through the fog that rolled in. She thought she spotted a pair of jumpy yellow eyes. Aiming carefully, she let fire two bullets, hopefully killing the shadow.
She smirked, it was just a little guy. More arose from the darkness and she frowned, jumping on her bike, she sped down the street.

(You're alot better than most experienced people. Example. You punctuate and Capitalize. XD That makes a good RP-er)

Shadowfire morpher the arrows into a sword, which burned with a purple/blue flame.
(If it hits you, it has the same effect as an arrow, which has a similar effect to a leech. )

With superhuman reflexes, Shadowfire dodged most of them, but got hit by two. He growled, slicing Lance's arm open, and the shadow began to poison him.
(Yes, but he doesn't control you. The shadow controls you. However, the more is in you, the shorter time. You didn't get it bad, so you still have about 1 hour and a half before you go total shadow zombie like. However, during that time, you do feel... DIFFERENT >:D )

Shadowfire then, to his disgust, primitively picked up a large branch off the ground and whacked Lance in the head, knocking him out. Then he picked him out like a kitten and walked off.

Leysha lifted her gun, firing two more rounds, but was unsure if they hit or not. She snorted and looked around, well this was simply great. Perfect really. She caught the eye of a stray revolver, probably dropped by the boy.
The young women ran over and picked it up, reading the writing inscribed on it. Well now she knew where to look for him, if not that then atleast be the bearer of bad news.
