Trying to meet new people

"Alright..." Loki said. "Sorry Lily. I have to put you under."
He quickly took a needle, and jabbed it into her neck, ejecting anaesthetics into her bloodstream.

Lily stifled a scream. She hated needles more than anything else, but she was soon quickly asleep.

Loki took a medical stapler. It was a good thing that this only was necessary in the head. He started closing the wound with staples.

OOC:Fun Fact: They actually do use staples rather then stitches on the head, for the skin isn't deep at all.

Bella looked at Midnight. "Im not going to hurt you! Just don't get in Loki's way." A giant blueish silver dog padded up beside Bella, and stuck it's long snout under her hand. She petted him absent mindedly. Hilly the grey hound came a little about her waist, but Bella was shorter than some people. She looked small and frail, like spun glass.


Lily's breathing was steady.

Midnights eyes traveled to the dog and she relaxed somewhat. Her weak spot had always been animals. "Whats his name?"

Loki wrapped a bandage over her head if any blood escaped, and flipped her over, working on the small scratch on the front of her head. He put a gauge over it, and went to get the smelling salts.

Bella smiled, and encouraged Hilly to Midnight. "Her name is Hilly. She's very friendly. Only thing she's ever even barked at are suspicious strangers, squirrels and shadows." Hilly looked at Midnight with big brown eyes.

Loki picked up the substance and waved it under Lily's nose. He then got bandages, for there was still an arrow lodged in his arm.

Midnight smiled softly and crouched down to the dogs height, putting out her hand for the dog to sniff. "Shes beautiful."

Lily suddenly sat up in bed, a little to quickly. She sneezed. "That stuff smells awful." She insisted, looking at Loki. "Are you okay?" She asked him. "I could, um, help?" Lily offered, raising her eyebrow free of cut.

Bella smiled, and Hilly sniffed Midnight's with fascination. "Everyone thinks she's to big to be lovable. I laugh at them. Had her since she was a pup." Once cataloging Midnight's scent and approving, Hilly let her tongue loll out of her mouth, and began panting, a goofy dog smile on her face.

"No." he said quietly, wincing as he pulled out the arrow. Taking off his jacket, he ripped his sleeve off (which was already drenched in blood), and wrapped his arm in bandages. The hip wound was getting to him. Vision fuzzy, he lifted his shirt and cleaned it with alcohol, before his eyes rolled to the back of his head and he collapsed on the other table.

"Ive always wanted a dog, but the families I lived with never approved." she said softly, petting Hilly behind her ears.

"Loki!" Lily said, jumping out of bed and ignoring the killer head ache that slapped her as soon and blood rushed into her head. She was vaguely aware of the wobble in her knees. "Bella!" She screamed, making it to the table, and lifting Loki's shoulders, sitting him in a chair. It was the best she could manage. She put her head to his chest, and let out a breath as she heard the familiar heart beat of a living human being.

Bella heard something crash, and ran into the Infirmary. Loki was passed out in a chair, and a pale Lily was listening to his chest. "Sit down." She said to Lily, who did as commanded. Bella rushed over to where-ever Loki kept his supply, pulled out a needle and thread, a wash cloth, and some smelling salts. She dumped some more alcohol on a wash cloth and handed it to Lily. "Hold this to his wound until I can fix him up." She said, concentrating on threading her needle. Lily held the wash cloth to Loki's hip, looking everywhere but his bare chest. (XD)

Midnight stood in the doorway, her senses filled with the smell of blood. She watched as Bella worked on Loki, and hoped he would be okay.

Bella moved Lily's hand aside, handing her the smelling salts that Loki had just used on her. She stitched his gash carefully, glad that it wasn't so deep that it needed more attention. She threw the excess thread in the garbage along with the bloody needle, then nodded at Lily. "You can go ahead."

Lily smiled, and waved the smelling salts under Loki's nose, hoping he would wake up.

Loki inhaled, and stirred, opening his eyes. "Wow...those do smell bad." he murmured drowsily.

Seeing Loki was fine, Midnight backed away from the room and started walking in the other direstion. Seeing how close these people were, she felt unwelcome. Midnight felt that she had no right walking into their home and trying to become one of them.

Bella rolled her eyes as Lily's face lit up, and walked out of the door. "Where are you going?" She asked Midnight, Hilly following at the new comers feet.

Lily smiled at Loki. "You know, super heroes have to rest every once in awhile too." She said, leaning back from him. "That means you do too."

"Super-heroes?" Loki asked wearily. "Seriously? That's what you compare me too?"

Midnight jumped at Bellas voice, "Outside I guess, I don'y need to be here."

Bella looked at her. "But we need as many members as we can get." She said softly. Hilly licked her hand with a slobbery pink tongue.


Lily looked at him curiously and bemused. "What would you like to be contrasted too?" She asked of him. "Although I still think you best fit super hero. You are always saving the day." She added quietly, her bang covering her eyes and making her face unreadable.

Blinking, Loki wore an awkward expression. "Well....thank you?" he asked.

Midnight smiled softly, ""I don't think you guys would want me here, Im not exactly the best person too be around."

Bella smiled. "That doesn't matter to us. I mean, how many times have we almost been killed due to another Wal-Mart member. Im sure today was an example to that. If your loyal, it doesn't matter."

Lily tucked and untucked her hair. "Welcome." She said absent mindedly, pulling her knees to her chest.

Loki smiled slightly, and wobbled to his bench, before laying down and closing his eyes.
