ATA-How it Happened
It was 2017. The Moon suddenly left it's orbit, and the Earth was a dark cold place. Millions caught disease from the cold and darkness, many became crazy and committed suicide, and many were killed by other things. Shadows. Shadows were wiped out when the Moon first appeared, after a meteor struck Earth. The gravitational pull of the moon kept them away. Though, as the moon suddenly disappeared from the orbit, the shadows once again appeared, and killed off most of the disease survivors. Now, only about 8,000 people live in the world, and there is a popular group of rebel survivors in New York City. These survivors are the closest in the world to the Shadow Fortress, and are the only ones that can save the human race from becoming completely extinct.

Taryn walked down the street. He looked at each house, and thought what every family would be doing if they were still there.

From down the street, a smaller girl walked with her sister, kicking at corpses laying around.
"It's utterly disgusting what t'ey left here," said Wind, her Irish accent mauled with the growl. "All t'e corpses layin' around."

Whisper walked beside her sister, a few inches shorter. "I do say so, sister. It's very disturbing walking past all these people. Honestly, my boots are going to be bloody by the time we get home." She complained, holding her white skirt up from the ground. The dress was tight fitted, floor length, with long silky sleeves that wrapped around the arms and left the shoulders bare.

OoC: Lol, there's a show I watch where the girls have Irish accents, so that's how I know XD And Wind doesn't really talk much, so it won't matter .3.

The styles had changed so much over the centuries; she preferred the newer, as opposed to Whisper, who obviously still believed women should wear dresses. Whisper smiled sweetly at her sister, and let her skirt drop when they had passed the pools of blood. "Who's that sister?" She asked, pointing a dainty and pale hand at the boy infront of them. "He looks like he'd be fun to play with." She giggled, putting her hands behind her back.
OOC: Yeck! It makes me think of when MOLDYWART was walking through the dead bodies at Greengots. (Or however its spelt) And his feet were all bloody D:

Whisper looked down, smiling slightly, and brought her fist back to the front of her. The knuckles gleamed with golden metal. In her other hand was a long spear looking thing, with a stone on one end, and decorated with ribbons and feathers and beads. "Hello." She called to Taryn, approaching with ease and grace. "I'm Whisper Sky." She introduced herself like a lady, picking her skirts up and curtsying.

Whisper nodded enthusiastically, bring her feather staff towards the back of his knees, causing them to bend forwards and for Taryn to fall. "So sorry." She hissed.

Wind came forward, placing the point on her staff at his neck and snarled, looking almost like an animal. She pushed it just to the point that it drew blood.

Whisper smiled, and sat on Taryn's sideways legs, crossing her legs and putting her brass knuckle clad hands on her knees. She smiled. "Poor, poor boy." She pouted, patting his side. Whisper picked up her feather staff, and brought it down on his chest, hearing the satisfying crunch of bones.

Wind winced, drawing in a sharp breath.
"Ouch," she said, a lilt at the end of her word. She unstuck her dagger and examined it, making a strange face. "Ugh, human blood." Shrugging, she swiped down, taking off Taryn's hand.

Whisper danced to his other side, and put one foot on his knee. "He has a nice sturdy bone structure. Although his legs are weak." She said, stepping down on his bone, snapping it in the wrong direction.

"Sister, please," Wind breathed. She hated the sound of bones snapping. Instead, she preferred going straight for the heart and killing her prey before completely destroying it. Even then, she just blast it to bits, she hated hearing bones pop.

"Show ya gentle," Wind murmured, but so Whisper couldn't hear her. She flipped Taryn over with her foot, then plunged her dagger deep into his chest, right into his heart. He was instantly killed.
