This Is Where The Bodies Lie

Amethyst walked down Solli Street. She had been doing more and more investigating alone nowadays. She kept walking until she suddenly turned to a house. She couldn't explain what compelled her to go but she went with what her gut told her. Amethyst climbed some stairs before coming across some bodies. They looked sort of out of place in the house. One was lying on their back while the other was curled up next to it. Amethyst sighed. Blood surrounded them. As if it were there own little force field, never to be touched. Amethyst couldn't resist getting a closer look of the girl and boy. So she broke through their force field, her smallish footprints were swallowed up by the not yet dried blood. Amethyst crouched down and peered at the curled figure. The girl had shortish, brown hair. A sword was dropped beside her head. It must've been her weapon. Amethyst thought. She looked at the girl's motionless body some more before turning her gaze to the handsome boy. His face looked troubled. As if regrets still hung on to him even in death. Amethyst walked around the girl to the boy's side. Her head tilted to one side. It was one of those moments where her voice had found itself. "What happened to you guys? What is your story?" But as the words escaped her lips her voice seemed to lose itself within her body's shadows. She wondered if these were the two leaders of the group that lived at the Walmart. She couldn't remember if she had been told their names. She sighed and stood up. Their blood had caught on her dress and it dripped down back into their force field of blood. Amethyst sighed. The sight of the two teens was a sad one.

He ran up the stairs panting. It was coming! Loki darted through the narrow hallway, boefore bumping into Amethyst with an "oof"!

Amethyst fell on her hands and knees into the blood. She glared up at Loki before realizing it was him. She tilted her head at him.

"S-sorry!" he helped her up, and looked over his shoulder. "We have to get out of here!"

Amethyst cocked her head to the side, as if to ask why.

Suddenly, a figure followed behind, clutching a sword.

OOC:Imagine this as a boss battle D:>

Amethyst looked over at it but nothing in her face changed. She seemed unsurprised.

The figure stopped, and said nothing. It then held out it's hand, which glowed black. Nightcrawlers appeared in front of them.

Amethyst let out an exasperated breath. With one silent move of her scythe she killed the nightcrawlers.

Loki stepped back as the figure outstretched it's hand again, casting a shadow over him. Loki held his head. "U-ugh..." His eyes flickered.

OOC: Ik ik ik but.... Eh... I always let my person get hurt.

IC: Amethyst went over to Loki and touched his shoulder. Worry flickered in her purple eyes.

The figure closed it's fist, and Loki looked up. His eyes were red and emotionless.

Amethyst looked back at Loki. She shook him a bit. Her voice found itself. "L-loki...?" it cracked.

Loki didn't answer, and the figure laughed, revealing it's own cracked voice. "This half-blood. Returning to home. Will kill you." he laughed, flicking his hand. Loki withdrew his sword like a puppet.

Amethyst's voice was swallowed back into her deep subconscious. She bit her lip. Fear clouded her eyes.

Loki jumped back, before charging at her. He quickly swung his sword.

It caught her in the side. She fell to the floor. Next to the two teens. She bit her lip even more, pain blossomed in her side. She looked up at Loki.

Loki's eyes were clouded, as he pointed his sword at her.

Amethyst silently prayed in her head. She felt as helpless as the day she watched her mother and father die. But something within her screamed for her to hit him. that she wasn't as helpless as before. Amethyst swallowed hard. She didn't want to hurt Loki. He was her first ever friend. Her teeth sunk into her lip, blood exploded into her mouth. She swallowed it before slashing at Loki's leg. Please don't hate me for this! she thought.

Loki fell, and so did shadow "strings" attached to his back. His eyes regained color, and he quickly got up. "B-bastard!"

Amethyst smiled silently to herself. She grabbed her bleeding side.

Loki backed up. "We are no match for it..."

Amethyst nodded. She motioned for him to leave. She didn't want to end up getting him killed.

"We are going together!" he ordered, as the creature drew close. A window lay at the end of the hall.

Amethyst shook her head and pointed at the window. Stubbornness shown in her eyes.
