Amethyst stared at Loki with wide eyes. She felt his hands on her neck. She shivered. Remembering how many times hands have been near her throat. She was still trying to figure out reality.

Amethyst bit her lip. Blood started to seep into her mouth. She still didn't know if she could trust police/Loki. She looked over at the new boy.

He imagined the pain and he slipped his hand into hers and stared back into her eyes, trying to imagine what that shadow had done to her to cause her to be like this. How horrible the shadows were...

Adrian basically stood in the corner of the room, covering her eyes. She couldn't see what was going on. Seeing the process of putting in the stitches would have made her sick.

Loki sighed. "Alright, I'm going to the Campsite. Make sure to pick a sleeping bag, Reuban...." He yawned silently, and looked up,as if to check if anyone heard it, before walking out.

Amethyst watched Loki leave, disbelieving he would leave her with a strange boy that kept touching her. She looked down at her legs remembering they were uncovered, like they were uncovering her secrets.

Adrian finally realized Loki had walked out. She then crossed the room to where Reuben and Amethyst were. "Is she okay?" She asked Reuben. "Wait, I never got your name..."

He looked to at her scars and was suddenly curious. "W-what happened...?" He asked cautiously, not knowing if she would want to talk about it. He looked to Adriane. "That boy said she'd be fine. I'm Reuben Callus."

She nodded. "Adrian Galloway," she said before turning back to look at Amethyst. Finally, she felt somewhat better.

Amethyst hugged her legs and grabbed the pad and pencil that sat beside her. She wrote awkwardly, much less graceful then when she had first used it.

I had a bad dad.

He saw the writing and understood. "I-I'm sorry. But it looks like you have a better family here..." His voice trailed off, feeling as if his attempts to comfort the girl were failing epically.

I am half shadow and Loki ran from me. Not much of a family.

Loki sat on one of the benches inside, and sighed. It had been such a long day, but atleast all turned out well....

Amethyst shrugged and got off the table(?) she was sitting on. She wobbled a bit when she walked but all in all she was some what fine.

Adrian watched the two people in front of her for a moment before silently walking out of the room. Seeing Amethyst recover made her happy. Like she finally did something right for someone she was somewhat barely close to. She then saw Loki. "Are you okay?" She asked.

Reuben stood to the side, feeling downhearted. He stood to the side, wondering where he would be if he hadn't tried to slice Loki in half.

He read the note and looked up at Amethyst with a smile. "How sad my life would still be without you." He feared rejection, and in his mind played out a movie of him getting imapled by her scythe.
