The remake of ATA, when the human race goes endangered.

ATA-How it Happened
It was 2017. The Moon suddenly left it's orbit, and the Earth was a dark cold place. Millions caught disease from the cold and darkness, many became crazy and committed suicide, and many were killed by other things. Shadows. Shadows were wiped out when the Moon first appeared, after a meteor struck Earth. The gravitational pull of the moon kept them away. Though, as the moon suddenly disappeared from the orbit, the shadows once again appeared, and killed off most of the disease survivors. Now, only about 8,000 people live in the world, and there is a popular group of rebel survivors in New York City. These survivors are the closest in the world to the Shadow Fortress, and are the only ones that can save the human race from becoming completely extinct. This is the Prolouge of ATA. Help make the story.

Amethyst walked to the Observatory. It was her first time out since her, "operation", and she was getting used to being silent again. She had a marker board and dry erase marker with her just in case. She didn't feel like wasting paper today.

Pine quickly sped towards the Observatory. She panted breathlessly as she advanced. She felt herself run into someone.. or something. She staggered backwards and let out a startled gasp. She realized that it was a white haired girl about her age. Her eyes sparkled with shock, and embarassment. "I'm sorry!" she said. She noticed a gleam bundled in the girl's arms. She stared at it. She soon realized that it was a dry erase board along with a dry erase marker. Why would anyone need that? she thought, slowly getting up.

Amethyst got to her feet quietly. Her world was now back to its unusual and creepy silence. She wrote on the board. It's okay.

Pine stared at the girl awkwardly. She stared at her for a long moment, question deep in her eyes. She let her eyes wander from the board to her face. Were there other people besides them two? "Why won't you speak? No need to write anything down.. I mean.. unless you like writing.."

Pine waited patiently as the squeaking of the marker continued. Finally, it stopped, and she gazed at the writing. "Took your voice box? ..Who in the right mind would want a voice box?" she asked half to the girl, half to herself. "You must hate having to write down everything you want to say.." she murmured.

She shivered as silence crept around her. "You don't get lonely by yourself out here with all these beasts?" she asked, pausing to read her next writing before continuing, "Yes.. I get awfully lonely. I get so lonely I start talking to myself.." She let a small giggle escape her mouth.
