The remake of ATA, when the human race goes endangered.

ATA-How it Happened
It was 2017. The Moon suddenly left it's orbit, and the Earth was a dark cold place. Millions caught disease from the cold and darkness, many became crazy and committed suicide, and many were killed by other things. Shadows. Shadows were wiped out when the Moon first appeared, after a meteor struck Earth. The gravitational pull of the moon kept them away. Though, as the moon suddenly disappeared from the orbit, the shadows once again appeared, and killed off most of the disease survivors. Now, only about 8,000 people live in the world, and there is a popular group of rebel survivors in New York City. These survivors are the closest in the world to the Shadow Fortress, and are the only ones that can save the human race from becoming completely extinct. This is the Prolouge of ATA. Help make the story.

Rayli slowly opened the large black doors to the fortress. She slipped in and stayed in the shadows. (OH TEH IRONY XD)

Adrian followed Raylynn into the huge fortress that she had never seen before. It gave off an eerie feeling and a sense of dread. "Where do you think they are?" She whispered as quietly as she could.

When she saw Loki walking by, she froze, struck by fear and joy at the same time. "Loki!" She suddenly blurted out, unable to stop herself. She then covered her mouth with her hands to shut herself up.

Loki turned to her. "What!?" he shouted, before flicking on his bluetooth. "Intruder!" he announced. "I got it covered."
He then made his sword appear out of thin air.

She stared at him with a longing in her eyes. She wanted to snap him out of this... phase or whatever it was, but she knew it was going to take more than just words. She drew her own sword and held it out in front of her defensively. "Loki, I don't want to hurt you.." She whispered.

She was hoping he was joking, but she knew he wasn't. "Fine," She replied. "Have it your way..." She then darted towards him, sword ready, attempting to strike him with it.

Adrian lost her balance and landed on the floor, hard. She gripped her sword tight in her hand as to not lose her grip on it because if she did, she was done for.
She shook her head as she stood back up. "I'm just getting started." This time, though, she waited on him. Attacking first had made her vulnerable, and that would possibly give her an advantage if he were to attack her.

Loki twisted his sword. "Grant me thy shadow power!" he called, and suddenly, a burst of dark wind erupted from the cycle of his sword. It blew straight into Adrian.

Or.. not. She thought, finishing her last thought about having an advantage. She tried to hang on through the gust of wind, pushing herself towards it, but almost in an instant she flew back into the wall. The hard impact suddenly knocked the breath out of her and she crumpled to the floor, trying to remember how to breathe.

OOC: maybe seeing her seriously hurt will awaken Loki's good side? o.o

Suddenly Loki's eyes widened, and he held his head. "Ah!" he yelled, before straightening up, wincing. He grimaced. "I can't believe he can get through.." he growled, before raising his sword at Adrian.

Still shocked, she tried to reach for her sword that had fallen out of her hands when she hit the wall. It hadn't fallen too far away from her, but it was just out of her reach. She stared up at Loki with wide, fear-filled eyes. She finally gasped, but nothing else would escape her throat.

Loki raised his sword. "Time to di-" he suddenly stopped, holding his head once more. His eyes changed from red to blue. "Impossible." he yelled. Impossible!"
Suddenly, his hair turned blue. He collapsed on the floor.

Adrian just sat there for a few minutes, trying to comprehend what just happened. After catching her breath, she crawled over to Loki so that she was sitting next to him. "Loki?" She whispered, tapping his shoulder to see if he would wake up.

She slowly stood up only to become quite dizzy. It took her a few disoriented minutes to be able to see straight again, and when she did, she looked down at Loki one more time. "I have to get you back to Walmart..." She muttered, somehow managing to pick him up and carry him out the door as quick as she could.
