The remake of ATA, when the human race goes endangered.

ATA-How it Happened
It was 2017. The Moon suddenly left it's orbit, and the Earth was a dark cold place. Millions caught disease from the cold and darkness, many became crazy and committed suicide, and many were killed by other things. Shadows. Shadows were wiped out when the Moon first appeared, after a meteor struck Earth. The gravitational pull of the moon kept them away. Though, as the moon suddenly disappeared from the orbit, the shadows once again appeared, and killed off most of the disease survivors. Now, only about 8,000 people live in the world, and there is a popular group of rebel survivors in New York City. These survivors are the closest in the world to the Shadow Fortress, and are the only ones that can save the human race from becoming completely extinct. This is the Prolouge of ATA. Help make the story.

Roxy was wandering the streets, sword in hand. She had hidden for a year, gathering supplies to build it. Now it was done, & she looked for a place to stay. She saw a Wal-Mart, & managed to get in without being seen. Inside, she saw no Shadows. She decided to go hide somewhere until she was found by someone. She hid by the books, taking out her iPad. She went onto the book app & started reading.

Reuben wandered around with his shadow. His arm hung lamely at his side when he stumbled into a girl reading off of an iPad. He dropped his shadow, which growled at the intruder menacingly.

OOC: Mai shadow ish so cute, and if you try to attack him, you'll die ^-^

Roxy, seeing a Shadow, whispered something too soft for anyone else to hear. "Go away." had been her words. "If you are not evil, please help me," the words were still whispered, but were just loud enought to be heard.

Raylynn quickly walked out of the campsite anxiously glancing around. She bumped into rueben and her duflle bagg dropped spilling open. She quickly picked the things up and shoved them back in the bag "Uh Hi Rueben!" she whispered.

Roxy rmembered for the first time in a long while that she had a large bag she was carrying. It had become a second nature, easy to do, as simple as breathing. She was used to being alone now, and being around a bunch of people her age she didn't know was scaring her a little. She reached into her bag for a moent, & withdrew a small, blue-covered book. On it on the front, she'd written Roxy's Memories. It held all her pictures. She flipped to the first page, where she and her friends had been partying all night. That had been the year before it all fell apart. She counted off her friends' names in her head. Riley... Austin... Jane... Diana... Penelope... Chloe... she thought.
