ATA-How it Happened
It was 2017. The Moon suddenly left it's orbit, and the Earth was a dark cold place. Millions caught disease from the cold and darkness, many became crazy and committed suicide, and many were killed by other things. Shadows. Shadows were wiped out when the Moon first appeared, after a meteor struck Earth. The gravitational pull of the moon kept them away. Though, as the moon suddenly disappeared from the orbit, the shadows once again appeared, and killed off most of the disease survivors. Now, only about 8,000 people live in the world, and there is a popular group of rebel survivors in New York City. These survivors are the closest in the world to the Shadow Fortress, and are the only ones that can save the human race from becoming completely extinct.

The Shell Drive dispute (Battle between Sorren and Aaron)

"Hyah!"
Sorren slashed his spear over the piece of wood, cutting it on half. He spun it in a speedy motion, grinning. "I'm getting good at this.." he told himself, examining his spear. It was pretty old, but he had been working on it, fixing the spearheads in all. It was double-sided, and sharp. most of all, it was deadly. Whistling, he set up another piece of wood.

Aaron strolled by casually, and grinning, he used a throwing knife, which hit the wood dead center and snapped it in half, near perfect halves. The knife had a rope on it, allowing him to pull it back. He continued his walk.

"Never will be. " Aaron rolled his eyes, drawing his sword and getting into a stance. SF was nowhere to be seen.

(Note, his throwing knife is concealed in his sleeve; he is very experienced in flicking it out, using, and returning quickly :3 The sheath is strapped to his wrist/forearm)
With a flick of his wrist, his throwing knife was out and with another whisk, the blade was embedded in Sorren's arm. He flicked it back and slid it back into it's sheath.

Sorren's eyes widened, as pain exploded through his shoulder. He's fast! He thought to himself, running over to Aaron. He uppercutted him, giving him a shallow slash across the torso.

Grimacing, Aaron swept around his legs just after sheathing his sword. Unsheathing his slightly longer than average dagger, he gave him a slash along one leg.

Sorren tripped, and backflipped to make sure he wouldn't mess up and fall. He couldn't walk well now. Holding up his spear, he braced for an attack.

"I didn't realise this was an RPG." Sorren smirked back, hiding the pain in his shoulder. His whole right side was in bad condition.

Sorren couldn't really move. He had no other choice but to stand his ground, and said nothing.

Aaron folded his arms, dagger in hand. He flipped it a few times, then rushed Sorren, dagger moving like a snake.

Sorren grinned. He had one shot. He hurled his spear. It landing in Aaron's shoulder area. Right over his heart, and right under his main artery. "D-damn. I missed.." Sorren winced, one eye closed, and with a frown.

Aaron felt a sudden pain land in his chest, right as his blade scratched clean across Sorren's. He collapsed, coughing a bit of blood. He ripped the spear out and threw it. He coughed onto the ground, and lie on his back limply.

Sorren felt the burst of pain from the slash, blood exploding from his wound. He leaned against a broad oak tree, finding the scarlet liquid also caressing down the side of his mouth. He grinned. "D-did I win?"

Sorren considered it, but slid to the ground, blood smearing on the tree trunk. "I'm sorry. I don't hurt a defenceless opponent..."

"That won't be nessecary. " A chilling voice said. Shadow drooped low, picked up Aarons limp body andbegan to leave. In SF's clutches, Aarons skin turned deathly pale and briefly dead. Then he woke. His eyes were a turning a purplish color. The sky darkened and it began to rain.

Sorren looked at Shadowfire, unable to move. "...shadow.." was all he whispered, eyes drooping. Though, he still stayed awake.

Aaron got up, his marks fading like dust in the wind. His scratches remained, but were swiftly disappearing. "Let's go." Aaron picked up Sorren and walked back.
