ATA-How it Happened
It was 2017. The Moon suddenly left it's orbit, and the Earth was a dark cold place. Millions caught disease from the cold and darkness, many became crazy and committed suicide, and many were killed by other things. Shadows. Shadows were wiped out when the Moon first appeared, after a meteor struck Earth. The gravitational pull of the moon kept them away. Though, as the moon suddenly disappeared from the orbit, the shadows once again appeared, and killed off most of the disease survivors. Now, only about 8,000 people live in the world, and there is a popular group of rebel survivors in New York City. These survivors are the closest in the world to the Shadow Fortress, and are the only ones that can save the human race from becoming completely extinct.

Shadow dust blew into smoke. Ari was wielding his cleaver, deciding to train with that. His sickles were inside, hanging from the ceiling. Surprised to see shadows on Ceres Lane, Ari decided to go for it, sending a rabbit running to distract the Nightcrawlers. He took them out while their backs were turned, and killed the rabbit as an added bonus. The rabbit would be a good meal for later on. Ari huffed, thinking about how he has changed since the apocalypse. He was alone.

Reuben walked out into the open. He saw a shadow blow into smoke and Ari. He walked back at the sight of the hypnotic boy. He didn't stand a chance if he could take over his mind. But then he stopped. Shadows on Ceres Lane?

Ari frowned, spotting Reuben. "Shit.." he breathed. It was the kid he hypnotised. Casually, he walked inside.

He looked towards Ari's house. He didn't exactly want a fight. He made a mental note of the house inside of his head.

Ari took off his hoodie, placing it behind the door. His whole arm was bandaged. He hoped Reuben wouldn't recognise him without the hoodie.

Ari silently got to work, laying down magnetic powder he had found in the basement, inside the dirt walls. He laid it down with super glue, another thing lying around the house, so anything metal in front of the door would stick to the ground, and stay there. Ari flipped his cleaver in his hand, ready for his plan to unfold.

Ari grabbed Reuben by the neck and pulled him out of the magnetic area, cleaver at his neck. "Sorry, buddy. You can't barge into my house like that." he muttered.

Chelsea was walking along the street like she always did. She noticed Ari's house, then noticed Reuben's sword on the ground. "What is going on in there?" She asked herself.
