ATA-How it Happened
It was 2017. The Moon suddenly left it's orbit, and the Earth was a dark cold place. Millions caught disease from the cold and darkness, many became crazy and committed suicide, and many were killed by other things. Shadows. Shadows were wiped out when the Moon first appeared, after a meteor struck Earth. The gravitational pull of the moon kept them away. Though, as the moon suddenly disappeared from the orbit, the shadows once again appeared, and killed off most of the disease survivors. Now, only about 8,000 people live in the world, and there is a popular group of rebel survivors in New York City. These survivors are the closest in the world to the Shadow Fortress, and are the only ones that can save the human race from becoming completely extinct.

Oh crap! She turned to leave but dropped her golden arrow again. She didn't have time to worry about that. She disappeared then reappeared in a tree near the house.

"He leads the Gang ever since the old leaders died." he explained breifly. He wondered how the shadows got there. Someone must have taken the supposed "treasure."

"Alright. Good enough." Ari said, shoving Reuben out the door. His sword followed seconds later, and Ari locked his door. After taking a breather, he slunk down against it. Had he really made the right choice?

"Suit yourself." he said, standing up. "Douche..." he said under his breath as he walked away. He was the same when he first tried to kill a rebel; excluding the whole hypnosis-and-random-person-with-a-giant-ninja-scythe-coming-out-of-the-woods-and-trying-to-hack-your-ass-into-a-million-pieces.

Ari walked towards his couch. His torn arm reopened. He finally felt something different. The feeling of being alone. He sighed, opening his door. "Hey." he called towards Reuben.

After awhile the sign came and loomed in front of them. He walked forward and the door opened automatically. "Welcome to the Rebel Base."
