Luna gave him a weird look. "You don't seem like the kind of kid to survive an apocalypse." She commented.

Lance stopped. "I am really tough, actually." he took out a silver gun. "Here is my main weapon, along with my combat knife."

Luna laughed. "I'm not one to use a gun." She gestured to her sword. "I like using these better." Luna coughed a bit, blood coming out onto her hand.

"What's wrong" Lance grew wide eyed.

Luna laughed. "It's nothing. I just haven't lost all my baby teeth and one popped out." She said showing him the bloody mess in her hand, but amongst it was a little whitish red tooth. "I've been waiting for this one. I wonder if I put it under my pillow the tooth fairy will come. Then I can capture her and ask her to change the world back."

Luna nodded happily. "So what was your life like before the disease hit?" she asked. She sat down across from him so she could see his face while he told her.

Lance looked down wistfully. "My dad died when I was born, and my brother, who taught me about guns and gave me this gun, died at war. My mom and I were alone, until disease claimed her too."

Luna nodded. "I'm so sorry." She looked down at her lap. "That's so sad."

Luna looked up. "Oh! Me? Well... When I was born my twin died, then after a while my parents moved here and we lived in an apartment before the disease came and took the from me. I burned their bodies and started looking for other people that could help me. All I found was perverts though. Nasty buggers. Worse than the shadows the lot of them. Then I found you." Luna told him.

"Not as sad as your story. Trust me. Your's is the saddest I've heard so far." She told him. Luna looked down and started thinking. "I've been exploring since I've came here and found a couch in the employee rec room. Maybe we should drag it out here so if one of us keeps watch at night or so we may be able to at least be comfortable."

Lance walked up and examined the doors. "i have a better idea." he tore out some wires and started working on them, putting his hand in front of it at one time. He them put them back in the control box. "There, now the doors are heat censored. No shadows will be able to go through here."
