The remake of ATA, when the human race goes endangered.

ATA-How it Happened
It was 2017. The Moon suddenly left it's orbit, and the Earth was a dark cold place. Millions caught disease from the cold and darkness, many became crazy and committed suicide, and many were killed by other things. Shadows. Shadows were wiped out when the Moon first appeared, after a meteor struck Earth. The gravitational pull of the moon kept them away. Though, as the moon suddenly disappeared from the orbit, the shadows once again appeared, and killed off most of the disease survivors. Now, only about 8,000 people live in the world, and there is a popular group of rebel survivors in New York City. These survivors are the closest in the world to the Shadow Fortress, and are the only ones that can save the human race from becoming completely extinct. This is the Prolouge of ATA. Help make the story.

Ocean slowly walked down the street, no to be careful of her surroundings, but to decide where she was going to go. "I hope I can stay somewhere where there are ribbons~" Ocean thought out loud.

Ocean turned to face the girl. "Hi..." Oceans voice traced off, but then quickly re gained, "Oh, these?," ,She said, pointing at her fake cat ears, "They bring me the courage to fight with out them I'd-" Ocean suddenly realized that she just said her weakness to two strangers. "I mean uh,.." Ocean tried to re-cover from the huge mistake, "I guess I'm just a bit overjoyed to actually talk to a person for once.." she said looking the other way.

I had some... Family issues last night so I appreciate it!

Everytime Joy tried to say something someone would cut her off. Seeing her chance Joy took a deep breath and smiled. "I'm Joy... And I have a soul. So don't push it." She said with a giggle making her take notice to her flaming hair and crisp green eyes. "So Cat-woman... Where did you come from?" She asked the girl narrowing her eyes at the ears.

Ocean was surprised that someone accused her of doing something. "A spy? No, no. I heard about it from a shadow that actually talked..." Ocean answered. "I'm actually not sure if it was real or just a dream." Ocean admitted, taking her time to think out her answers.
