ATA-How it Happened
It was 2017. The Moon suddenly left it's orbit, and the Earth was a dark cold place. Millions caught disease from the cold and darkness, many became crazy and committed suicide, and many were killed by other things. Shadows. Shadows were wiped out when the Moon first appeared, after a meteor struck Earth. The gravitational pull of the moon kept them away. Though, as the moon suddenly disappeared from the orbit, the shadows once again appeared, and killed off most of the disease survivors. Now, only about 8,000 people live in the world, and there is a popular group of rebel survivors in New York City. These survivors are the closest in the world to the Shadow Fortress, and are the only ones that can save the human race from becoming completely extinct.

Ari walked up to the doors of the Windbreak Mall. He knew Mallix was dead, and there was really no harm in looking around. He walked in.

OOC: I think it's a great topic... Ocean loves malls because they sometimes have cake shops with cake still left in it~ Or, craft shops with.. RIBBONS :DD.

Ocean was wandering around the streets. "I'm so bored~" Ocean whined. All of a sudden, she spotted the mall, and just stood there staring at it for what seemed to be 5 minutes.

Stanza noticing Ocean staring at the mall decided to catch up with her. She ran to Ocean and playfully pushed her "Whatcha waiting for? Lets go, maybe they got Twinkies" Said Stanza right before she ran into the mall.

Ari blinked, not turning around. The darkness gave him an advantage, and his pursuiter wasn't stupid enough to open a creaking door. Suddenly though, someone flew through the door, running into him. He fell on his face.

Ocean's hand that she had in the pocket of her dagger got cut when Stanza pushed her. "Ouuchhiee" Ocean sobbed. Then she looked up to see that person she saw on the ground and Stanza in front of him.

Ari looked up at her, narrowing his eyes. "Well. You just probably got us killed by informing every shadow in the area of our location. But other than that, just dandy!"

Ocean wasn't really feeling herself today, she didn't have any sweets in the past month and it's been bothering her. She turned around and saw the big Shadows heading their way. She pulled out her gun with her non-injured hand.
