The survivors were few, and only 8 or so people lived in the Wal-mart, all of which didn't talk much. Loki sighed and walked down the street. He still had no memories, meaning he was still amnesic.
He stopped. Holding his head, he felt an excruciating pain. He screamed, before looking up. His eyes were red. Realising he attracted more shadows, he sighed. "Fuck off..." Loki muttered in a dark voice. A voice that wasn't his. Immediately, the shadows obeyed, and disappeared from the premises. "I don't know how much I can stay like this before my pitiful self breaks in again. I mustered all my strength to once again go half-blood..."
He flinched, hearing something.

Amethyst walked down the street. She kicked a rock as she walked. She barely made a sound. She hadn't noticed Loki yet.

Loki raised his brow. "She has...shadow energy radiating off of her..." he whispered, then held his head, wincing. "F-fuck...."

Amethyst looked up, finally noticing Loki. Her face brightened and she ran up to him.

Loki looked up, still in a half-blood form, and a sword appeared from the shadows. He was ready to fight.

Amethyst cocked her head to the side and stopped. He was acting strange.

Loki spoke in the dark voice that wasn't usually his. "Leave, fellow half-blood. Leave or die."
He spun the sword in his hand.

"L-loki?" Amethyst crooked, clearly hurt. "D-don't you remember me?"

Loki frowned. "Perhaps I did.." he sighed. "But no matter. You must leave, girl. Or fight."

"Loki... Please..." Amethyst gulped. "What's wrong with you?"

Loki acquired a look of rage. "What is wrong with me? Well for one, Ii have been turned into something more human than shadow, and have been locked inside my own body." he muttered.

Amethyst flinched. "Is that really such a bad thing?"

"Wouldn't you like to know,halfblood. Alas, the Loki you think you know isn't real. The real Loki Whitefield is a cold-blooded, stealthy, killer-"
He held his head once more, eyes shut in pain. "N-no...I don't have much time.."

Amethyst stepped closer. "I don't believe that. The Loki I knew is still in there." She stretched out her hand and touched his cheek. "You just have to set him free."

"U-unhand me." Loki backed away, before his eye color changed back to blue. He fell backwards.

Amethyst hurried t catch him but she wasn't fast enough. She bent down beside him. "Loki? Loki...? Are you alright?" Her eyes filled with worry.

Loki blinked, and sat up. "Amethyst? Is that you?" he murmured.

Amethyst smiled brightly and pulled Loki into her arms. "LOKI! YOU'RE OKAY!"

"Huh?" A confused Loki smiled oddly. "What happened?"

Amethyst pulled away and put a finger in front of her mouth. "Well, you were talking strangely. Something about being more human than shadow, and you being a stealthy killer. Also you said something about running out of time." She smiled, "You also threatened to fight me."
