Adrian then glanced over at Loki, and when she saw him awake, her heart leaped. Finally! She thought, but she didn't say anything and just let Reuben speak.

Adrian at this point was glaring at Reuben harshly. "Don't you even think of touching him." She warned before turning to Skylar. "Oh hi!" She greeted with a sudden change of tone.

He narrowed his eyes and jumped to his feet. He tried to restrain himself, but he was on the verge of turning into a super saiyan.

That hit a nerve in Adrian. She suddenly had a burning sense of hatred against Liz, and it wasn't only because she worked for the Shadow King. "If she comes back, she won't be able to leave..." She grumbled, seething.

Adrian took a minute to calm down by closing her eyes and taking deep breaths. Finally, she let out a heavy sigh and looked back at Skylar. "I know. I don't underestimate Liz. I know she can whoop my butt. But sometimes, I overestimate myself, which is really bad in situations like this..."
