Annabelle took off her jacket and put it under his head. "Alright." She grabbed the whistle. This should be easy enough. She took her sword and the whistle. She slipped the blade into the part where you blow. She put the whistle on the ground and pushed down.

OC: Will it snap in half? Sleeps will decide.

The whistle started to crack when all of a sudden a Parashadow flew past, snatching the whistle with a quick snap of the whip.

Annabelle cursed and raced after the parashadow. "Give that back!"

The Parashadow floated away with a snicker. Reuben jolted upright to be met with pain.

Skylar held Reuben back. "Stop. You'll hurt yourself even more."

Annabelle let it go. "We need to leave. Now!" She walked over to Cloud and took her jacket back. She struggled to pull him up but eventually got him. She pulled his arm around her neck.

Reuben grabbed at Skylar's hand before letting go. "You need to go, they won't stop coming."

Annabelle looked at Cloud. "C'mon. I can't carry you without your help."

Reuben shook his head. "No....save yourself."

Cloud stood on unstable feet and started to walk towards the exit. We're doomed.

Skylar shook her head. "No. If anyone is going to stay behind. It'll be me. Now get going! Annabelle will help you."

Reuben closed his eyes, not wanting to argue anymore. "Don't say things like that." He slowly got to his feet, the shadows were coming closer.

He considered what Skylar said. "And so will you. I wouldn't be able to live if I knew you were dead." He shook his head. If he stayed there, Skylar might die too. "Ple-"

Before Reuben could finish, Cloud dashed for him and started to drag him back spitting and fighting.
"What are you doing!?"
"I need the pleasure of killing you in a fair fight, and we can't do that if you play heroics."

Skylar laughed, despite the situation. "Yeah. No one needs to stay. Let's go." She helped Cloud drag Reuben, Annabelle was waiting for them."

Skylar laughed again as they walked out of the building, Annabelle helping.
"Reuben. You shouldn't be so self sacrificing when you don't really need to be." Annabelle pointed out.

Cloud rolled his eyes. "If it wasn't for me, you wouldn't have your little boyfriend." He said, gesturing towards Reuben.

Annabelle sighed. "It doesn't matter. We got out fine. Well... mostly."

"Pfft, fine? We're dragging an incapacitated member of your team through a building full of confused shadows." Cloud muttered. Reuben looked up at him.
"What did you say about me not being here?" Cloud pointed his nose away. "You should figure out yourself, ungrateful douche."

Annabelle grabbed Cloud's hand and marched him farther up and away from Skylar and Reuben. "Stop it!" she said once they got out of earshot.
