ATA-How it Happened
It was 2017. The Moon suddenly left it's orbit, and the Earth was a dark cold place. Millions caught disease from the cold and darkness, many became crazy and committed suicide, and many were killed by other things. Shadows. Shadows were wiped out when the Moon first appeared, after a meteor struck Earth. The gravitational pull of the moon kept them away. Though, as the moon suddenly disappeared from the orbit, the shadows once again appeared, and killed off most of the disease survivors. Now, only about 8,000 people live in the world, and there is a popular group of rebel survivors in New York City. These survivors are the closest in the world to the Shadow Fortress, and are the only ones that can save the human race from becoming completely extinct. This is the Prolouge of ATA. Help make the story.

Luna limped through the Walmart doorway and barely made it to the couch before she collapsed. She sighed as her wound bleed on a blanket laying there. She shook her head. "Might as well use it." Picking up the blanket she pressed it firmly against her wound. Her wound was a little more deeper than she thought. "I'm going to need stitches." She knew how to sew but didn't spend much time on it. She limped to the Arts and Crafts section of the walmart and found the thickest thread there and a needle. She started to stitch herself up.

Luna saw it and stuck it in the head with the needle. She ripped it off her leg and stomped on it. She hurried with her sewing and finished cutting off the string. It wasn't neat but it would have to do. Luna limped back to the couch and picked up her sword. It might have been a mistake coming back alone but she couldn't do anything about it.

His red eyes glowed deeply, as he laughed. "I've missed you, Luna." he said icily. He was half shadow. He, was Zathe.

"Honored is the word I am looking for." Zathe replied taking out a dagger in his mortal hand. It had a creasent moon around the hilt, and seemed to glow silver. "This'll be easy." he laughed, referring to Luna's wound

Luna thought a moment. "No." She knew if she did it'd be over. He would have killed her and Lance would never forgive her for dying when she told him she'd be fine.

Zathe frowned. "Alright then.." he lifted his claws, only to falter. The leeches randomly swarmed back, as Zathe suddenly fell to his knees. His eyes were flashing red and blue.

Zathe didn't answer, holding his head. Suddenly though, the shadow part disappeared. His eyes turned blue, and he passed out.

Luna rolls her eyes. "Sure... You yell at me then pass out in my home." Shaking her head, she picked up Zathe. Swinging his arm over her shoulders, she winced in pain and limped over to the couch and sets him down. Unable to stay conscious, she soon blacks out on the floor.
