The remake of ATA, when the human race goes endangered.

ATA-How it Happened
It was 2017. The Moon suddenly left it's orbit, and the Earth was a dark cold place. Millions caught disease from the cold and darkness, many became crazy and committed suicide, and many were killed by other things. Shadows. Shadows were wiped out when the Moon first appeared, after a meteor struck Earth. The gravitational pull of the moon kept them away. Though, as the moon suddenly disappeared from the orbit, the shadows once again appeared, and killed off most of the disease survivors. Now, only about 8,000 people live in the world, and there is a popular group of rebel survivors in New York City. These survivors are the closest in the world to the Shadow Fortress, and are the only ones that can save the human race from becoming completely extinct. This is the Prolouge of ATA. Help make the story.

Odin was using an old shadow trick only usable by strong ones of his species. He used his shadow ability to become completely invisible, so long as he doesn't move much. It was used for surveillance.

Cloud stood. He went over to a nearby bush and started to pick its leaves, mashing them into a pulp. "Now all I need is venom or poison... Maybe some glass..." He muttered to himself, stuffing the pulp in an empty vile. He turned around when he saw Melinoe. "Hey!" He greeted nervously.

He walked over, when a certain plant caught his eye. He picked it and put it in another vile. There was all kind of junk on the ground! He was about to start restocking his resources, but didn't want to be rude. He swiftly picked up a penny. That would be good for making green smoke. "Don't die." He warned with a smile.

Odin suddenly had a plan. He took a shard of the shadow crystal, which was broken from when Luna and Lance were revived, and tossed it near Cloud. Maybe, he would pick it up, and turn into a half-blood accidentally. That'd be better, rather than convincing the human. He was never good at that.

"Who knows?" He said, staring down.

Cloud spotted the crystal. He studied it. It was black, which made Cloud smile. It was probably obsidian, which would make a great knife or spear. He reached to pick it up, before he stopped himself. He slapped on a glove. He didn't want to cut himself with glass he found off of the ground, he was no doctor. Infection is the last thing I need. He thought.

He showed it to her. "It looks like obsidian..." He studied it closely. "But... It looks a little strange. It's probably some other type of crystal."

Odin growled to himself. The human outsmarted the effects. Now he needed that crystal back, or some random weak human would become half-blood. He slowly got up, coming out of his invisible cloak, and held one of his duel swords to Clouds neck for in back of him. "Crystal. Now!" he ordered through gritted teeth.

Cloud jumped in surprise. He handed back the crystal slowly, but his other hand inched towards his pocket and drew out a vile with heavy green tint.

Odin grinned, and disappeared, reappearing behind Cloud. "No thanks. Friendship isn't my thing.
Odin then ran his sword down Cloud's back, slowly opening a shallow slash wound. He put the other sword to his throat, to prevent movement.
