Lily shrugged and smiled. "Everytime I reappear we always end up in the Infirmary." She lied, hiding her purple eyes in a tangle of overgrown bangs that brushed the top of her eye lashes.

Lily shook her head, she knew she couldn't hide her feelings from Loki. "I just missed you... That's all." She confessed, meeting deep blue eyes with weary bruised ones.

She took a tentative step towards him. "It's me, it's you. It's us." Lily smiled koyily, and looked at him, reaching one hand out, then letting it drop. "Nevermind. I'm sure you have so many other things to worry about." She twisted her head away from him, shamefully.

Loki opened one eye, obviously saddened. He hated making her cry, but it was to get across the truth. Kisa fluttered from the nest he made on the roof of the Walmart, and flew towards Lily, peeping.

Lily welcomed the little bird, smiling through inevitable tears. It was a sad thought that she would never have someone, just like this bird, but it was the sad truth if she planned to hang on to Loki forever.

Kisa peeped, fluttering around her head. Loki heard the commotion and sighed. The bird was making better friends then he was.
