ATA-How it Happened
It was 2017. The Moon suddenly left it's orbit, and the Earth was a dark cold place. Millions caught disease from the cold and darkness, many became crazy and committed suicide, and many were killed by other things. Shadows. Shadows were wiped out when the Moon first appeared, after a meteor struck Earth. The gravitational pull of the moon kept them away. Though, as the moon suddenly disappeared from the orbit, the shadows once again appeared, and killed off most of the disease survivors. Now, only about 8,000 people live in the world, and there is a popular group of rebel survivors in New York City. These survivors are the closest in the world to the Shadow Fortress, and are the only ones that can save the human race from becoming completely extinct.

"How are we supposed to defeat them all?" She asked. As on Lunged on her she stabbed it in the stomach with an arrow.

"How should I know?!" Ari yelled (which he rarely did.), slashing. "Just kill them."
Suddenly, a dog's jaws clamped on his wrist. He stabbed it through the eye with his cleaver, but already blood with running down his arm, plipping on the ground. "It missed the main artery." he huffed with relief.

One of the dogs came up and bit here in the leg , so she stabbed it in the side.She took out another arrow so she could have one in both her hands.

Ari sheathed his cleaver and took out his sickles, stabbing and slicing the heads off of dogs. Sickles curved, making beheading easy. But he never beheaded a human or half-blood.

She took the arrow and stab the dog that bit her in the head making it vanish into nothing.

There were 4 left. Ari's injured wrist shook as it carried one of the sickles, but he managed well. He threw a sickle into the head of one dog, and uppercut another's face apart. They vanished.

A dog came up and bit her in the arm. She used her other hand and stabbed it in the head. In turn it vanished.

One more. The dog tried to flee, but Ari threw his sickle, hitting it in the back. It vanished. "Y'know." Ari huffed, flexing his fingers. Blood still dripped through them. "We should fight together more often."
