ATA-How it Happened
It was 2017. The Moon suddenly left it's orbit, and the Earth was a dark cold place. Millions caught disease from the cold and darkness, many became crazy and committed suicide, and many were killed by other things. Shadows. Shadows were wiped out when the Moon first appeared, after a meteor struck Earth. The gravitational pull of the moon kept them away. Though, as the moon suddenly disappeared from the orbit, the shadows once again appeared, and killed off most of the disease survivors. Now, only about 8,000 people live in the world, and there is a popular group of rebel survivors in New York City. These survivors are the closest in the world to the Shadow Fortress, and are the only ones that can save the human race from becoming completely extinct.

Zathe walked up the stairs of the fortress, after hunting for living humans. No luck. He sighed and made his way through the hall. He wanted to give the king a status update.

Zathe waved his hand, and three colored spirits appeared. They fit into a large door, and he continued to walk down it's hall. "Lord?" he called, the single word echoing down the hall.

Zathe took the blow, and fell, quickly trying to wriggle her off. "Get off of me! Who are you?" he yelled, not able to see her.

Amethyst tilted her head in confusion. She didn't quite remember him saying that. She held her scythe close to her.

The point of the dagger nicked her clothing, tearing it in the middle, showing her belly button(awe so cute ^^). She swung her scythe at his leg.

Amethyst backed up before the dagger could hit her again. (that can happen right?) And slice the air diagonally, but too far away to hit Zathe. She cursed in her head and charged at Zathe, this time, she hit him with the stick of her scythe.

The plunged through his arm. Zathe yelped in pain, falling to his knees and holding it. He growled and got up, pointing towards Amethyst. "Minions! Kill this bitch!" he ordered. Immediately, a dozen nightcrawlers appeared, and Zathe ran towards the King's throne.

Amethyst's eyes widened as the nightcrawlers came towards her. She twirled her scythe around to the blade. She waited for their first move.

The nightcrawlers circled her, and one stood out. It wasn't a nightcrawler at all. It was a Parashadow, which circled her in the air. Then, the nightcrawlers lunged.

Their claws cut through her over jacket, shredding it, and cut deep into her skin. She winced and swung her scythe through the air, killing about six of them.

Though, there were six more, and they grabbed onto her, their objective to put her in the dungeon for later execution. (and rape.....jk XD)

Amethyst struggled against them. She refused to go with them. She wanted to know what Zathe was up to. She ripped free of them, tearing her arms up even more in the process. She swung her scythe once more, killing the rest of the nightcrawlers. But the parashadow was still, in fact, intact.

There was something in the parashadow's claws. It was sort of a whip, which he lashed. It wrapped around Amethyst's wrist.

Amethyst dropped her scythe and hung her head, biting on her lip, which made blood explode in her mouth, she silently coughed and it spit out. She glared at the two shadows and pulled down on the whips, a red aura surrounded her.

The whips uncurled around her wrists and Amethyst grabbed her scythe. She raced the get to the door where Zathe had disappeared through, but not before kicking one of the parashadows hard in the head.

Zathe, meanwhile, was in the throne room. "Master, there is an enemy in the castle. Though, the minions are mauling her now.
