The remake of ATA, when the human race goes endangered.

ATA-How it Happened
It was 2017. The Moon suddenly left it's orbit, and the Earth was a dark cold place. Millions caught disease from the cold and darkness, many became crazy and committed suicide, and many were killed by other things. Shadows. Shadows were wiped out when the Moon first appeared, after a meteor struck Earth. The gravitational pull of the moon kept them away. Though, as the moon suddenly disappeared from the orbit, the shadows once again appeared, and killed off most of the disease survivors. Now, only about 8,000 people live in the world, and there is a popular group of rebel survivors in New York City. These survivors are the closest in the world to the Shadow Fortress, and are the only ones that can save the human race from becoming completely extinct. This is the Prolouge of ATA. Help make the story.

The doors were boarded up so Skylar climbed through a broken window, the pieces of glass scratching at her bare legs because she was wearing a mini skirt. She didn't exactly feel cold with it on so she didn't bother to change. As she stepped through the window her foot kicked something. She looked down to spy a black orb. Is that an... EGG! Her eyes darted around the room. The eggs were everywhere.

Reuben blindly stepped on an egg, tripping himself in the process. He looked around at the room and cursaed under his breath. He sslowly drew out his sword with a single metallic noise among the silent room.

IC: Reuben heard a creaking sound and turned just in time to slash a shadow that had jumped out from the darkness. He stepped over the black orbs on the ground and stepped into the hallway. "Skylar?" He asked.

IC: Skylar's nails plunged further into her skin. She felt bad for saying that to Reuben. She felt wetness on her finger tips and saw her nails had broke through her skin layers. She silently hid her arm behind her back.

Reuben turned around. "This reminds me of some movie. I wonder if they have a queen..?" He shook the thought away. He couldn't imagine a big fat shadow queen with the Shadow King, who probably wouldn't go down that low.

Skylar nodded. "Probably." She noticed stray blood running down her leg from the glass. She grabbed a rag from her pocket and wiped it up, also taking the chance to wipe her arm off. "So... These shadows are going to grow up to kill us... I wonder if we could train them like Baby (XD)."

Skylar smiled. She picked up an egg using her bloody cloth and held it in her arms. "Maybe we can build our own shadow army to take on the king. It may take a while but who knows! Maybe we can do it!"

Skylar looked down at the egg she was holding. She bit her lip. "We may just want to take one for now." She looked up at Reuben. "We don't want a bunch of evil shadows at the Wal-Mart if that is what it turns out to be. Think of it as a pilot study." She told him.

Skylar's mini skirt blew as a breeze kicked through the hallway. That's... unnatural... She turned around just in time to get punched in the stomach by a nightcrawler. The breath was knocked out of her and she fell to her knees, the egg stayed in her grasp though.
