ATA-How it Happened
It was 2017. The Moon suddenly left it's orbit, and the Earth was a dark cold place. Millions caught disease from the cold and darkness, many became crazy and committed suicide, and many were killed by other things. Shadows. Shadows were wiped out when the Moon first appeared, after a meteor struck Earth. The gravitational pull of the moon kept them away. Though, as the moon suddenly disappeared from the orbit, the shadows once again appeared, and killed off most of the disease survivors. Now, only about 8,000 people live in the world, and there is a popular group of rebel survivors in New York City. These survivors are the closest in the world to the Shadow Fortress, and are the only ones that can save the human race from becoming completely extinct.

Cloud bent his head back in laughter. He pulled out the spear with a gasp and started running.

Bella rushed on scene, a wash cloth in one hand, and a vile of powder in the other. She grabbed Sorren's leg and pulled him away from the puff of posionus smoke. They ended up in a ditch on the side of the road. Bella uncapped the vile, and waved it under Sorren's nose, hoping her would inhale the foul smelling salts.

Bella leaned him forward, looking at the back of his head. "You have a nasty gash on the back of you're head from where you feel on the road." She said, dabbing at it with her wash cloth. "We should probably go back to camp and get it sown up." The blond concluded, standing. "That is, if you can walk." She looked so small compared to Sorren.

Bella stepped back, three small steps. "Annabelle has a lover? Who?" She asked, picking up the back pack that was bigger than her, and slinging it on her back. Her nurturing instincts took back over. "No, no, no. You have to get that gash looked at, or it's going to get infected. Hold this on it, no matter how bad it stings." She said, opening a brown bottle, and dabbing some liquid onto it, then giving it to Sorren.
