Adrian then remembered her bad arm. There was no way she could help. Her attacks would be too slow. Cloud was on his own this time. Placing her sword back into its sheath, she stood beside Annabelle, a small tear running down her face. "Let him.. That idiot needs it."

Blood soaked Ari's shirt as he flipped his cleaver in his hand, swinging at Cloud.

He stepped back at Annabelle's word, but it had already hit. "What the hell were you doing?!" The cleaver hit his arm.

Annabelle's eyes widened to Adrian's whisper and Cloud's out burst. "What?" She was confused. Her eyes grew wider when Cloud got hit.

Adrian stood there, silent. She truly wanted to run away- to get away from all of this- but she didn't move. So I'm not the only one he tricked... She thought.
