ATA-How it Happened
It was 2017. The Moon suddenly left it's orbit, and the Earth was a dark cold place. Millions caught disease from the cold and darkness, many became crazy and committed suicide, and many were killed by other things. Shadows. Shadows were wiped out when the Moon first appeared, after a meteor struck Earth. The gravitational pull of the moon kept them away. Though, as the moon suddenly disappeared from the orbit, the shadows once again appeared, and killed off most of the disease survivors. Now, only about 8,000 people live in the world, and there is a popular group of rebel survivors in New York City. These survivors are the closest in the world to the Shadow Fortress, and are the only ones that can save the human race from becoming completely extinct.

Shiloh let out a terrible cry. She was being strangled by a shadow! Things went fuzzy and she felt like she was going to pass out. She tried to scream again, but she couldn't breath.

Jude was walking through the forest, just looking around when he heard her. His body went cold and then he raced in her direction as fast as he could.

The shadow heard the footsteps, and dropped Shiloh, leaving her on the ground. Shiloh was passed out.

Jude raced over and kneeled beside her. He gently grabbed her shoulders and shook them.

Shiloh woke up moments later. She opened here eyes to see someone kneeling over her. She flinched. "Who are you?!" She said, startled.

"Jude. Are you okay?" he asked softly. He was quite shocking looking, he knew. Pigmentless skin, hair as white as snow, cloudy red eyes.

"You sure?" Jude asked gently. His voice was nearly a whisper as he carefully helped her up with one hand on her back in case she fell.

IC: Shiloh heard screeching of a shadow nearby. She looked around, but all she saw were trees. Suddenly, a bunch of shadows came rushing at them. One knocked over Shiloh, but she got up and drew her blades. She started killing shadows.

Shiloh started to draw in a patch of dirt with a stick. She wasn't as good a drawer as Skye, but she was good. She drew a kitten.

When she was done, she had drawn a kitten playing with a yarnball. She dropped the stick and just sat there.
