Shiloh looked around. It was kind of cold now. She loved the way it smelled when it just rained. It made her feel calm.

Jude took a deep breath in and smiled lightly. Sunshine was shining brightly, lighting up the leaves on the trees as drops of water from the storm dripped from them.

Suddenly Shiloh let out a horrible shriek. She fell on her knee. In the distance, a shadow running away. Blood ran down her leg really fast.

Jude kneeled beside her, eyes wide.

Her eyes clenched tighed and her face twisted in pain. There was a big gash in her leg, and she was scared because she didn't know what to do.

Jude took off his coat and wrapped it tightly around her leg to stop the bleeding. Then he gently picked her up, scanning the forest for the way out.

His coat made it sting a little bit more, but she didn't care. She just wanted to get out of the forest now.

Jude ran through the forest until he made his way out. Then he looked at her semi-frantically. "Is there a hospital or something around here where I could take you?" he asked.

Shiloh shook her head no. Her face was still twisted. She didn't have time to think.

Sighing, Jude carried her to his tent where he lived and set her down inside.

Shiloh felt a bit better when she was lain down. She opened her eyes, and looked around, not recognizing where she was.

Jude pulled out a first aid kit and slowly took the coat off her leg.

Shiloh's leg felt much better after the coat was taken off.

The cut on her leg wasn't very deep, but it was big.

Jude opened the kit and took out some wipes so he clean away some dried blood, then took out some antiseptic spray. He looked up at her. "This'll sting." he warned. He knew from experience that it stung a LOT. Then he sprayed it on the gash.

Shiloh's face twisted again and turned red. She let out a groan.

Jude finished with that then smeared some other cream over the injury. Then, he pulled out a gauze-ish band-aid like thing and placed it over the gash. "There." he murmured.

Her leg felt much better. She looked at Jude. "Thanks for helping me." She said, still laying down.
