The remake of ATA, when the human race goes endangered.

ATA-How it Happened
It was 2017. The Moon suddenly left it's orbit, and the Earth was a dark cold place. Millions caught disease from the cold and darkness, many became crazy and committed suicide, and many were killed by other things. Shadows. Shadows were wiped out when the Moon first appeared, after a meteor struck Earth. The gravitational pull of the moon kept them away. Though, as the moon suddenly disappeared from the orbit, the shadows once again appeared, and killed off most of the disease survivors. Now, only about 8,000 people live in the world, and there is a popular group of rebel survivors in New York City. These survivors are the closest in the world to the Shadow Fortress, and are the only ones that can save the human race from becoming completely extinct. This is the Prolouge of ATA. Help make the story.

A loud, metallic sound rang through the forest as Kirsty sharpened her sword with a rock while leanign against a tree. She had been here in this forest about a week, and had set up a small camp just a few metres away, near a small clearing. She wondered if there was anyone else here.

As if to mock her, a girl with waist length black hair move from the trees, chasing a thick rabbit. She stopped when she saw Kirsty. "Hello." She said grabbing a tree branch a swinging her way up, into camouflage. She danced to another tree then another, and watch Kirsty stare at the tree she had first grabbed. The girl almost laughed. Who was the girl she'd just seen though?

Walking through the forest with ease, a young man scanned the clearing, catching eye of a passing rabbit. Looking for any form of entertainment, he watched it carefully and pulled out a small knife, not at all bothered by the movement in the trees or the sound of sharp metal against pure earth. With a keen eye and a quick toss the weapon was thrown, cleanly hitting it's target, pinning it against a nearby tree, hooked by the ear. A little satisfied, he stuck his hands in his pockets and walked over, ready to claim his prize.
Rabbit foots were supposed to be lucky, weren't they?

ooc:: Lol, you know I just now noticed I totally repeated myself in the first sentence?

Lily giggled, and jumped out of a tree behind Kirsty, wrapping a hand over her mouth, and holding a knife to her head. "Drop your weapons and I'll spare your Scottish life." She growled, her good-mood disappearing.

Lily looked at the girls waist, and pulled her sword out from its holster, and threw it into the forest behind her. She released her grip on her mouth, but held her knife defensively. "So, who might you be?" The black haired girl asked, putting her knife in a small holster on the side of her quiver. She dusted off her dark wash jeans, and black sweat shirt.

"Yeah, I don't think so..." The young man slipped out another knife, taking a moment to aim precisely and threw it at his target. As intended, it sliced through the grip of Kai's handgun, creating delightful friction sparks upon impact. The British bastard might have lost a finger or two, he couldn't tell, but hey.. like he cared.

Though, it is curious. Very curious indeed." he muttered. "Is this how you get your kicks? Shooting innocent by-standers for the meer thrill? And of the feminine nature no less... Pathetic, really.." His eyes flickered over momentarily in Lily's direction, as well as the strangers, because shooting back. Silent fury shone clear in his eyes, trying to figure the best ways to provoke the boy, oh yeah.. and Saving Lily's ass, that was an added bonus... [/bricked]
